Carhartt Men's 104999 Super Dux™ Relaxed Fit Sherpa-Lined Vest

I’m 5’9” 185 athletic build I bought a Large and fits great. This vest was much nicer than I anticipated. Not bulky very warm and goes with jeans or business casual. Great pocket sizes comfortable durable lightweight and has waterproofing ability. How can you go wrong.

Got my vest today on time as usual! I am 5’7” 180lbs and the medium fit perfectly! Was able to zip it up comfortably! iPhone 14pro fits nicely in the breast pocket with the velcro flap. Also has zippered horizontal breast pocket on other side along with zippered hand pockets and finally a velcro inside pocket on the lower left!! I purchased the blue one it’s a blue/gray actually!! It looks like canvas but it’s a nylon blend. Stitching is first class! It is lined with what looks like wool but it’s not wool! It’s Carhartt so you know it’s quality! If is sound like I’m happy with my purchase it’s because I am!!

Purchased for a gift. Super durable fabric but not harsh to the touch. Washes up great if you can get it off their body. Comfy, warm, and super attractive.

I was looking for an every day vest for work and play, in our Oregon coastal weather. Something that would block the wind, shed some rain and get me from one place to another without getting soaked in a shower. This vest excels in this regard. It is also very professional looking and has already gotten me some compliments. I also love the good size inner pocket, on the left side, for my large phone. The fleece is rugged and provides great warmth.Others have complained that the collar is too stiff and sticks them in the chin and jaw. They are correct. The collar does not lay down easy and might be uncomfortable in some situations. Having the vest half-zipped helps and I have been able to train the collars to fold back and lay down a bit, but they do stick up stiffly, into the chin and jaw area when the vest is fully zipped I have mostly overlooked this flaw, because I like all of the other features of this vest, more than any vest I have ever worn over the last 20-30 years. Carhart could make a little design change to the collar fold, that would make this product excellent, vs. very good.

This vest is well made and has lots of pockets. It fit my grandson perfectly. There were some comments about the neck opening. He had absolutely no issue with how the neck fit. The water repellant fabric does repel rain. Very happy with the vest!

My husband loves this vest. The quality is amazing! I didn’t pay attention to the “relaxed fit” description so I had to send the first vest back for a smaller size but customer service was fast and great to work with.

Super Dux is awesome for cold and wet weather wear. The vest is comfortable and keeps you warm and dry. Nice large pockets too!
