This yo-yo took a while to grow on me because I didn’t exactly know how to gauge quality. After getting two more expensive yo-yos, I’ve realized how amazing of a deal this one is.Idk of it makes a difference but I did change out it’s bearing with one of my other ones, but this is the only yo-yo I grab now. Amazing quality for the price.If you’re on the fence about getting a first yo-yo & wracking your brain over forum suggestions & comparing which yo-yo is the “best”, stop stressing and just grab one of these. They have multiple colors as well. You can’t lose for 14 bucks.I love mine and still choose it over 50+ dollar throws.

I have been trying to test out all of the starter friendly yo-yo's I've seen on Amazon and recently got to the YO3 Hertz by MagicYoYo. It's a wide profile yo-yo and it comes with an unresponsive concaved bearing. If you are new to Yo-Yoing that means the bearing allows the yo-yo to spin at the bottom of the string for a long time without coming back when you tug on the yo-yo. The concave shape of the bearing keeps the string centered and away from the walls of the inside of the yo-yo, which help reduce friction and increase sleep times. The yo-yo is very stable, it's yellow friction stickers are very responsive and grab the string consistently for general play. The yo-yo is also very stable, handled longer tricks easily and my meager attempts at horizontal seemed to work as well. Fingerspins are possible but will require practice as the hub is not designed with self centering in mind.I picked the black, blue, and purple splash anodizing. It looks very stunning in proper light and is a nice subtle dark throw to add to my otherwise bright collection.The finish is bead blasted which allows for grinds and reduces drag when the yo-yo is in contact with other surfaces. It worked great for finger grinds, arm grinds, thumb grinds, and ufo/tornado binds.

This is a great beginner yoyo, I have some history with this hobby but this yoyo made it so easy to get back into doing solid tricks, its a nice size and would easily fit alot of different hand sizes due to its weight, could recommend high enough.

This thing is fantastic! I've had it for a couple of months now, and there's no trick it can't do. It's incredible to me that MYY can offer this thing for as little as they do. It performs on par with many of my $60 or $70 yoyos. I think any enthusiast needs to have one of these in their collection!
