This is a great Blimp for microphones. The Blimp is 19.5 inches long by 6.5 inches in diameter. It is mostly plastic but seems good quality. The slide is aluminum and has 3 supports for the microphone. The Blimp handle is a rubber-covered grip. It has a 3/8 inch mount and includes a brass adapter insert to 1/4 -20. The handle is 6.5 inches long by 1.25 inch diameter. The ends of the Blimp are removable...just turn 60 degrees and mount/dismount, bayonet-style. The Blimp has 1 inch by 1/4 inch slots all around. The interior is covered with a light-mesh fabric all around. The shock-mounts use 12 plastic-support-bands. There is another full-set of 12 plastic-support-bands provided. The Blimp can accommodate a shot-gun microphone up to 15 inches long. The handle can be adjusted as to angle of which you hold the Blimp...as well as being tripod (or camera) mounted. The Blimp also has a Furry-Windshield that is zippered. The unit gets fully covered with the Furry-Windshield. A case for the entire Blimp (Furry-Windshield attached ) is provided. It has one open side for the Blimp. The case has a draw-cord for the open end...it is also the case handle. The Blimp comes nicely packaged and was double-boxed in my case.

It almost completely erases wind noise from my productions. A must use! Its so good... I have to add leaf and wind sounds to my productions to not have things sound weird. One problem... THEY SHOW YOU THE SHOCK MOUNTS... THEY TELL YOU 3 SHOCK MOUNTS... BUT THEY GIVE YOU 2!!!! 2 Will work... But 3 will keep that your mic Uber stable and noise free!!!!
