solid well made quality
it was bigger than expected, such a joy to have this kind of quality toy for my toddler who loves trains, enjoyment for many hours and after that was not a problem to put it back in the box and store it until later. The value is great, sure it will last for awhile.

Perfect for 4 year old boy or girl.
This was he beat buy everI hot it for around $43 dollars at Christmas time. My grandson loves it. Stays on track held up to some destructive boys ways. It' sounds life like and the crane works as well. Would I pay full price ,yes! Very nice sized cars my son who had a Lionel metal train at 4 was even.impressed

Use I saw USED but good! I was a little skeptical, however when my train came I would have never noticed it was used! Fantastic quality! My two year loves it!!! The remote controls speed of the train the lights the noises. All extras are great! Very impressed with this product!

The batteries
The train set is awesome and my son loves it. However the battery life is terrible! We opened it on Christmas Day and we had to replace batteries three times in the remote!!! That is upsurd! I would like to return it for something that lasts a bit longer.

Lionel Construction Train
Overall a good buy. My son is two and didn’t show much interest in it, although ripping the tracks & throwing them was most enjoyable for him. Will purchase a O scale from Lionel later on next year with steam & more realistic cars with more cars in different colors probably will spark his interest more. I paid more than advertised by $50. The tracks will buckle on non smooth carpets . Hardwood floors are recommended.
