Eight Innovation Electronic Sounds Advent Calendar

Even if the product is nicely presented and the idea of making a sound machine is quite fun, (gosh was so loud we were thinking that was a "make your home alarm kit" ) my dear husband engineer could not make it until the end. At step 22 the thing was not doing what it was supposed to do. But 4 stars because It kept him distracted with capacitors instead of taking more chocolates, which didn't work because he stoled the chocolates of my own advent calendar at day 22 because he couldn't complete theirs.

The battery pack caught fire after day 11. I checked and double checked the components were all in the correct place bd they were! Didn’t think something this low voltage could cause such a mess and gutted I couldn’t complete the project

I bought this for my dad who is a retired engineer and loves synthesisers as I thought it would just be a fun little thing for advent. We were both very impressed with this product. The synthesiser is fairly detailed and the instruction booklet has clear directions as well as explaining how things work. We both agree this is definitely designed for kids that want to get into this sort of thing but it is great for adults as a fun project to do in the mornings leading up to Christmas too.

This a great way to learn electronics, a new circuit everyday. This one is for sound circuits.

I got this for my son and he is enjoying it as his advent calendar!
