Good quality
These brushes were just as described and were perfect for my chalk paint project.

Worked great but be sure to check dimensions
I really should have paid close attention to the dimensions when ordering. That was my fault, so I didnt take off any stars for the brushes being almost laughably small for my project (a large dining table and chairs). I ended up purchasing a larger brush to do the bulk of the project. However, I will say that the large brush (different brand) was horrid compared to these smaller brushes. It shed hairs like crazy. I picked maybe 20 out of the table top alone as I was painting only to pop another 10 up when sanding between coats. These brushes, however, never shed a single hair. I used them for smaller crevices and smaller sections on the chairs. It almost made me wish I had sucked it up and used the small brushes for the whole project.

Good for small projects
For my first time chalk painting furniture and buying brushes these worked ok. I read other reviews and soaked the brushes prior to using them so loose bristles would fall out. These brushes aren't very big so if you are painting or waxing a bigger piece of furniture I suggest buying bigger brushes. I did a coffee table and these worked but decided to buy a larger wax brush for that step. I will definitely keep using them for smaller projects but for larger furniture pieces it will save time to have bigger brushes. Even after soaking the brushes prior to first use they did lose a few hairs throughout my projects I painted 3 tables and a mirror. But I suspect that will happen with any brush especially the more you use it. They didn't shed a lot of bristles just a few.

Great Brushes
These are great brushes to use for painting furniture. I have used them on several pieces and they are easy to clean, work great and don't leave too many brush marks.

Whitewashes great until comes unglued
I'm using these & bigger sets to whitewash my kitchen cabinets. These were doing great on the trim work & worked great, until tonight when my flat one just came unglued from the handle. They're a bit difficult to clean unless you do it about every 30 minutes. I keep a small measuring bucket beside me & when I stop for a few or have been using about 25-30 minutes, I drop it in & let the bristles set in water, rinse, press excess with cloth, then start again.Natural bristles, so the paint sticks to the outer bristles even after cleaning & using a paint comb to clean. If you're really adamant about clean brush, I wait until dry & then scratch that "line" area off.So, good working brush but mine feel apart too soon.I'll glue back together & keep using. Easier than trying to get replaced.

Necessary item
These brushes should be a staple in every crafters’ supply kit. They’re the best for smaller items that you’re using chalk paint on. Smooth, brushless finishes. Last a long time, too.
