Really happy with this. Although the first one I ordered was temperamental, didn't always connect and some buttons didn't work but I thought that was a mapping issue. Turns out it was a faulty unit. The one I have now all buttons work and connects every time to my Xbox series x.

I was going to get buy the V1 but it didn’t have all of the features on the box on its release and I was waiting for a update that never came. This set does the job and the rudder pedals are very good too. You need to set up the buttons for how you would like them and there are many videos on YouTube to show you the best settings. The hotas 1does respond well on small planes and jetliners. You don’t really need the rudder pedals as the stick has them included also with a easy turn but I think it makes flying more realistic.

This is a great joystick for flying.. I play ace combat which allows for progression along the way. Straying from the mission at times because the flying is so fun. The joystick allows for aggressive players that love the fast paced gameplay

When I got this for myself I thought it would be difficult to use but it wasnt It connected to my Virtual Gaming PC easily and worked on MSFS very well. It did take some time for me to get used to it as I was used to playing on controller (XBOX). I also got an Xbox Game pass ultimate included which I didnt ask for either.

Got this as a gift for my dad's birthday av had a shot as well 5/5 if your thinking about it just buy it we'll worth the money if your into flying sims or games

In all honesty I could not get mine to work & had to send back because none of it was really clear enough to understand at the time. What you are not told is that it only works with certain games after you get it to function if you can. You still need your controller to work as a mouse to select flight sim options then once you are in game on runway or air then the controls should work & show they are there in the flight sim control options right next to your handheld controller. Keeping those things in mind for later the key thing is the little instruction book has an instruction on how to update your flight controls device. You are supposed to go on the website it shows, download the firmware, plug the joystick into the computer & run the program that some how saves to the flight stick & pedals? (I have no idea how this works or even if it will because I don't know if you can download this if your computer/laptop has Safe mode?) All instructional youtube videos of people who review this don't show the process of how to update. They only tell you they did it & this results in one of two outcomes. They show the joystick & pedals working or they still don't work regardless. I hope this helps & if anyone manages to achieve the firmware update (In safe Mode?) & get it to work on your Xbox please let me & others know what you do because that would be most helpful to anyone else who wants to buy one of these! Until then if you intend to use flight simulator to actually fly like myself it is great for learning how to use dials, angles, turning speeds etc but just remember analogue controls does not transition to using yoke or stick in right hand, throttle for left hand & pedals with feet for making in flight adjustments at the same time. Ottimo, regolabile, pedaliera di buona fattura ed apparentemente robusta. Funziona egregiamente con xplane su pc, si possono personalizzare tutti i tasti e i movimenti. Unico aspetto che si potrebbe migliorare: la manopola del throttle troppo morbida, per tenere il motore a regimi intermedi bisogna tenere la mano sopra oppure si rischia che vada a fondo corsa col suo peso.

Works well with MSFS. The rudder pedals must be plugged into the throttle. Mostly works out of the box with MSFS however it is easy to adjust the configuration in MSFS to make the rudder pedals work the breaks as well.
