Guild Lane - GILD Chrome Enamel Paint - Liquid Chrome - Metal, Plastic, Glass & More - Mirror-Like - Oil-Based Metallic Paint - 15ml Jar

Bought this as a last resort ‘fix’ for some old taps that needed repair to some cracked chrome. It’s not a 100% match, but I’d give it 97%, which is still excellent, and a massive improvement on most paints. Be aware the pot is tiny, but I hardly needed any to renovate 3 taps as I was only filling in some cracks. I’m very pleased with this result, and it has saved me the expense of buying, and having new taps fitted, and although I don’t know how it will wear, I have almost a full pot left to use should I need to retouch, or indeed use on other home projects.

Superb product with amazing results and you only need to use a tiny amount

This paint is really shiny and looks almost like chrome finish. It does fade and go Matt in time unfortunately.

The finish is good, but without some sort of clear coat it's easily rubbed off. Expensive.

I was reluctant to spend this kind of money on such a small tin of paint, but it is worth every penny. I bought some second hand chrome wheels which I was happy with, but the edge of the rims were tarnished as you can see from first photo left hand side is unpainted and right hand side has been painted with this chrome effect paint. I have only used half the tin so it goes along way. Fabulous product which I would strongly recommend.

This paint was brilliant. Have tried many different ones to touch up chrome in the bathroom but all of them lacked that reflective brilliant chrome shine - except for this one! Costs a bit more than the others but worth every penny. Goes on beautifully with brush, dries quickly and gleams just like the original chrome, I'm very impressed.

Bought to paint some gold metal drawer handles. So impressed. One coat covered and a beautiful chrome finish
