A dinosaur's dream.
For those of us who remember playing Pacman in the arcades, this is the perfect joystick. Just the right size and terrific N/S/E/W response. The big fire buttons are perfect for the shooting/jumpimg games like DigDug and DonkeyKong. So simple to operate, no setup or programming, just plug into your laptop and game away. There has to be legions of gamers like me who are frustrated with modern video games where you have to go to college and have hands like a brain surgeon to play. KISS certainly applies here, the best video games just require a joystick and one fire button.

Arrived on time, better than the original!
This arrived when promised (in time for Christmas) and as soon as you touched it, you can tell it's better than the one that ships with the C64 mini. That one is lightweight and feels weak. This one feels strong and works well. Its response is, in fact, a little stiff, but I'm sure that will change with use.

Works well but cable breaks easily
Works really well however the cable breaks fair easily. Easily repairs with some electrical tape though.

It's alright, not the nicest out there
Originally bought it to connect my Raspberry Pi to and worked right out of the box. The buttons are fine, overall the build is fine. The only.part I don't like is the joystick, I grew up with the Pacman Plug and Play joystick, so this one was very firm with little play. If you're thinking of using it for retro games, maybe try something else if they're quick reflex games. Other than the joystick being firm, it's fine
