You actually get exactly what you pay for - believe it or not...
A 2 oz syringe of this lubricant is typically 3 to 4 times the price and up. So they get you if you're a small or one-time user who just needs this to lightly lube a few parts a year (specifically adjusting screws on oxygen tank regulators, including for scuba or healthcare use, etc). You're kinda stuck b/c you cannot use just any petroleum based lubricant (incl oils) in a high-pressure environment with pure oxygen, or you may get spontaneous combustion, and a regulator flying about your shop or garage that has essentially the same effect as a grenade. Save your eyes, etc. Weldfabulous is one of a few selling this product in the tiny-sized versions. Elsewhere you will find syringes of the stuff sold in 2cc (.068 oz) quantities, similar to this product, in a similar price range. So it is priced fairly compared to other sources selling a similar quantity. Think you'll need this stuff more than a half-dozen times, ever? Then go ahead and get the 2 oz version for 3 to 4 times the price. This product is also sold in 4 oz, lb, etc quantities, but obviously for substantially more. One pound container goes for nearly three Ben Franklins and up. So don't complain about the tiny amount. You're getting a product that might save your life, vs choosing to not be safe and use the wrong product. (Victor part # 0034-0021, aka Liquid-O-Ring #151L, aka Christo-lube MCG 129).On a side note, if you're reading this and new to welding (or scuba, or any other use of high-pressure oxygen), please do yourself a favor. Sure, its tempting to stand directly in front of the gauges while opening them up, just because we're curious. Instead, stand off to the SIDE of the regulator when turning it on, not directly in front of it. Preferably wear glasses. That way, if it does go wrong, you are less likely to be directly in the path of possible flying parts, let alone an explosion or fire. From the mfg website: CHRISTO-LUBE® MCG 129 is a fully fluorinated grease thickened with PTFE which operates under extreme temperature conditions, has outstanding stability with oxygen and excellent compatibility with metals, plastics, and elastomers. This medium consistency fluorinated lubricant is particularly useful in lubricating valve and regulator components found in scuba, medical and industrial gas applications. CHRISTOLUBE® MCG 129 is registered with NSF as an H-1 lubricant meaning it is acceptable for use in or around food processing equipment.

Where's the beef?
Paid a lot for just a drop of this stuff. Don't be miss lead by the size of the container.
