Gold part scratched

I thought this would fall over, but it doesn’t. Works as it should.

Looks great at the kitchen, the materials are very good and it is real marble

The band around the top looks cheap and is tarnished and more primitive than modern. I was expecting a nice polished brass topper. The marble isn’t polished very well either, which looks cheap to me. I also wish the base was wider, so it isn’t hidden under a jumbo roll of paper towels. I bought it on sale but I think I can find something that doesn’t look like it was put together in a sweat shop in another country.

Great overall quality. Was packaged meticulously. Very heavy and does not fly off of the counter top when you are trying to rip the paper towels off. It matches my counter top and decor perfectly. Is absolutely love it. My only complaint and reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the gold on the top seems to be worn off. Since this is the main part That you see sticking out of the paper towel roll. It is a bit disappointing. I decided to keep it instead of returning it because I feel like I would notice it as a buyer, but other guests in my house would not. I really like the quality overall minus that minor detail.
