TL-18 B to B Test Lead Set, mfg by Elenco Electronics
The two sets I got (total of four cables: 2 red, two black) are both made with high quality, very flexible cable, but do not look "exactly" like the photo on the ordering page. I.e., There is no hole on the side of the connectors, but they are stackable. There is no strain relief feature at the cable exit form the connector, but i feel that is not needed here given the overall cable diameter of 3mm. The metal parts appear to be plated for rust resistance and all my other test leads fit snugly. Tip to tip length of each cable assembly was 36.5 inches. Time will tell if they hold up. Price is reasonable for this quality. I will update this review if I run into any failures.FWIW, each lead measures 0.1 ohms on my Fluke 8024B (my higher resolution motor winding meter needs to be calibrated, so I can't get any more precise than that for now).

These are NICE banana test leads
These are NICE banana test leads, so they deserve the 5 stars. Much better quality than the last pair I bought here. My only issue (and because of these I've determined the issue is with my banana jacks, not these or any plug) is they don't fit snugly into the banana jacks. I am using them to connect my bench power supply to a breadboard. Either set will fall out if you sneeze around them. I had always thought these were pretty standardized when it came to size, but apparently not. When I line these up against the former pair, these are thicker in diameter, and both are similar in length. Neither pair is snug, in either the power supply or the breadboard. I am going to be experimenting with the arduino and several servo motors, so a loose power connection is not acceptable. I think I may sacrifice one pair and cut off the tip and see if I can expand it to fit tightly into the plug. (They are also much longer than the plugs)

Solid value for the money
PROS:36" is a convenient lengthSolidly built - no hint of intermittent connections, even with a tugStackable is a major plusBecause they are standard banana plugs, many alligator clips fit them, and they fit many DVMs etcNEUTRAL:PVC jacketCONS:None that I have foundFour stars means "I like it". These are a good value for the money. They are not exceptional quality; they do not merit five stars. They definitely do the job quite well, and look like they will last. I will probably buy more.

I'm ordering two more sets!
I almost didn't buy these because of the bad reviews. I thought I'd take a chance though and I have to say, I don't know why people are complaining about these. Maybe they are shipping different quality items and some people got some bad ones? I don't know, but I can say the ones I received work great and look like decent quality for the price. I'm not saying these will compare to some name brand, professional quality that sells for 5 to 10 times the price. But for the average hobbyist trying to not spend a fortune, these look like they will work fine. I'm ordering two more sets so I have a few options for configuring multimeters and power supply connections. These are the type that you can piggy-back, so you can plug another banana plug into the top of these connectors. You can't really see that in the picture, and I can't remember if it says that in the description or not, so thought I'd mention it. For the price, I say go for it, I don't think they are going to fall apart on you as you take them out of the box. If you want to use it as a tow rope for your truck, you might want a little higher quality though.

Excellent quality for the price
Very good quality for the price. At half the cost of Pomona, these are excellent cables for the home lab. I work in a test lab and use all sorts of test cables everyday. I’d be happy with these in either my work lab or my home lab. These don’t have the cross hole in the side for stacking but I seldom use that anyway and I doubt most people would miss it. They do stack nicely in the normal end to end fashion.

very good quality. The connectors are tight
I bought a set of these cables from BT group. The ones I got were silicon coated. very good quality. The connectors are tight. I decided to get another set. I didnt buy them on amazon. THought I would shop around. Found someone on ebay selling elenco tl-18 that look identical to the ones here on amazon. Well, The second set is cheap. plastic coating. Look like made in china. Be careful. Avoid the cables with the holes for side connections maybe? The good set that I bought didnt have that feature

Elenco TL-18 Banana Test Leads
First rate test leads. Very useful for some DMM hookups instead of regular probes. Can easily be fitted with alligator clips for even greater flexibility. Despite the TL-18 part number which might indicate 18 inch test leads, the actual length of each lead is 36 inches.

Great Banana to Banana!
This is a good set of Banana to Banana test leads. I have a few sets already and will buy more when i need them. While the wire isn't silicone, they still feel pretty good. The Banana jacks and plugs fit perfectly into others. All in all a great deal!
