KentokTool Metal Detector with 3 Operating Modes, Waterproof 10 Inch Coil, Adjustable Handle Pole, LCD Display and Advanced Accuracy DSP Chip

After spending several days of searching/reviewing all kinds of metal detectors, from A-Z, this Kentoktool metal detector works pretty good. So good that I tried it out in my own back yard and picked up trash that was left a long time ago. (All was buried 3-4 inches deep. Nothing wrong with the metal detector, it worked great. But I want to warn people who think that these items will detect all kinds of buried treasures, don't forget, it will pick up buried trash just as well.I bought this metal detector mainly because of the easy to read and interpret the display and the different tones it makes which will tell you just what you might be below.

When I decided to buy a metal detector, I didn't know what I was looking for. I don't know where to start, but I chose this one because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to assemble and use! It is a very fun activity to find treasure with the children. It's easy to use and the display is easy to read.

I purchased this for my 12 yr old grand daughter. It worked well at the beach and she had fun finds. NOTE: The length can be adjusted for use by adults and children.

I purchased this metal detector to locate 25-year-old 1/2" steel survey stakes on the corners of our property. One of the corner stakes had been washed out in a flood in 2018. The other three stakes were buried under 25 years of accumulated dirt and debris. I was able to find each of the remaining stakes fairly quickly. There was other buried metal near the stakes (pieces of old fence wire and other bits of metal that accumulated over the years). I turned the sensitivity down almost all the way and set it to DISC mode to screen out non-iron metal. When I found the approximate locations, I set it on pinpoint mode and was able to find each stake almost immediately, even though they were all buried 3-5" down.

this is a hit or miss. it beeps but nothing there and half the time it wont go off when there is somthing there.also it keeps cutting off by itself even with new batteries

Bought this to find something my wife lost in the yard. Also was curious if there was anything interesting on my property because I have always heard of civil war activity in my area. Walked over to a spot in the yard close to a creek and woods. Found these items in about an hour. They were anywhere from four to ten inches deep. Don’t know for sure if they are from the civil war, but very well could be. Looking forward to searching the rest of the property.

Bought this for my son and I to use as we go on adventures. We love it!! It is super easy to use and put together. The headphones are comfortable and adjustable. It even comes with a mini shovel/pick-axe combo tool that is lightweight but heavy duty at the same time.

The device is really poorly made. The first metal detector arrived missing batteries and accessories. Luckily I keep new Duracells around for my electronics. After I installed the batteries, it just turned on but wouldn’t detect. I notified the seller and was sent a replacement about a week after receiving the first one. That one wouldn’t turn on at all. I checked with different batteries to make sure it was a battery issue and it wasn’t. I even swapped out the batteries from the first detector with no luck. When I put the batteries back in the first detector it wouldn’t turn on as well. So the detectors are really poorly made so that if they do turn on there’s no guarantee that they will turn on the the future. You do not want to spend all this money on a device that might turn on when you need it. You should spend your money on something that’s built right that will turn on every time and work the way it’s suppose to. I sent mine back for a refund and reached out to the seller for a second shipping label to send back the second detector, but the seller didn’t want it so it was trashed.
