Very easy upgrade, which has brought new life to an ageing laptop.Hits it's rated speeds with no problem, and have had zero issues of any kind. Other than that, it's quite visually appealing with the black PCB giving a premium feel, though as it's trapped inside the laptop casing it's not exactly on show!Would certainly recommend this product if looking to stretch out the life of an older DDR3 compatible machine.

Kingston is a brand i know and trust for many years, even back when i was in college this was always my go to brand as the quality they make is just unmatched.This is a 16gb laptop memory kit, you get 2 sticks of 8gb each, a few thing you need to make sure your laptop is compatible is, make sure you have 2 memory slots on your laptop, most of them will now a days but i've been surprised before by just having the one. Secondly make sure that the speed is supported by your laptop, again most will no problem, even if it's faster than what you need the memory will downtime itself to match your speed.With that said, this is a solid kit, super simple to install and done within 10 minutes, this will be the only memory you will ever need, although it seems a bit pricey, you will only buy it once and it can easily make an old laptop have new life.Overall, this is a brand i love and absolutely always recommend, in 22 years i've never had one of these memories fail me in any way, usually all the other components will give out first long before the memory does.Considering the auto overclock when needed, the low consumption for longer battery life and the amazing support you get, i would say this is probably the best choice in memory you will make.

This Kingston Impact has the same characteristics of the Hyperx impact and even the same latency levels. I still cannot fathom out the price difference.I would start by mentioning some downsides of this RAM:-It is DDR3: This would make it compatible with older laptop models, but it would be a step backward for the current laptops.-It is DDR3l: That means it has dual voltage which from one hand is good to keep the RAM cool, but also affects the performance a little bit compared to fixed high voltage RAM.The upsides include the low latency (CL12) and the wide compatibility across different brands and devices. Kingston makes amazing quality RAMs and this one is no exception. In case you want to purchase these then I would first suggest you to check your laptop's compatibility using the Kingston website. Their tool is very reliable in terms of picking the right RAM set.

I have used Kingston ram in several machines for long time and it is one of the go to brands I use whenever I want to upgrade the memory of laptops or desktops.I was very familiar with the HyperX range and I was confident in the performances and reliability but honestly I initially did not know about the FURY type. Turns up that Kingston FURY is the next generation of quality engineering in performance memory for PC enthusiasts, gamers and content creators.No much point in posting benchmarks since now the bottleneck of my system is surely not anymore the ram but the CPU and therefore I would not pay justice to these modules but for sure my laptop is very stable and with such memory headroom I am now able to keep multiple tasks and products open in the background without the system grinding to a halt.Super-compatible, very stable, power efficient and considering the pandemic and the silicon shortage, the price of under £150 for 16GB is also very good.

Well, what can you say about that? I've so far upgraded an ageing windows 10 laptop with an SSD instead of hard disk and that worked wonders I can tell you... then I see the RAM speed in the laptop is limited by the low spec RAM modules in it.... then along comes these.The BIOS auto-detected them and adjusted the RAM speed to 1600-ish MHz and what a difference it makes. It's like a new machine again!Overall very pleased with these, they're a superb upgrade.Many thanks for the opportunity to review, I hope this has been helpful :)

Great quality memory kit that worked with no issues in my mini PC. I don’t use it for gaming so not sure how it performs in that regard but it’s been rock solid performance wise. Any time you’re buying memory I would recommend sticking with one of the big names brand as I’ve had issues with cheap generic brands in the past. The price does seem a little on the expensive side though, even taking into the fact that it’s a branded gaming memory kit.

This looks like a hefty price but don't let it deter you as this will be the only memory you will need. This will give a new lease of life to a laptop (providing its compatibility). It comes in two sticks which is the most many laptops will have space for.It's from a brand I've used many times before and I've only ever gone back to them because of their reliability and performance.Great components and easy to fit.
