I've been looking for a good mate to drink from that was light-weight and durable for camping/travel. This one is great for that. Solid build and light weight. The straw(Bombilla) that comes with is good but does not come apart completely to clean the base part. It does come with a pipe cleaner. I'd recommend getting one that comes apart if your really picky about cleaning the straw. Otherwise, I think boiling it after a few months of use is fine. I can say I have drank mate my whole life, I'm Argentinean, and never really ever fully cleaned Straw(bombilla). lol

Im gonna be real, these things are better than the legit gourds that are common in South America.I really hated cleaning the natural gourds. It just seemed like I was going to get botulism.I had my cousin bring me some real Argentinean gourds, but honestly, this little vacuum cup is better. It stays hotter longer and its dishwasher safe.I even took it a bit further and bought loose tea leaf filters. I know its not the traditional way, but its cleaner and more efficient.

It a little pricey and if i known sooner i would gone to Ross or Marshalls as they do have these cup without the straws.Cons: doesn't keep it hot for long. The color is painted on and it will scrap off.Pros: It comes with metal straw.

Originally i bought a traditional gourd to drink from. Once i bought my kalmateh I enjoyed my mate even more. Easy to use, clean and hold. Love it!

The paint/coating is already chipping after only a month of use. It has never been put in a dishwasher.

Bonjour quand j'ai reçu cette article il manquais la paille et le livret dans la boite et la boite était brisé, je ne l'ai pas retournée car pour le prix cela aurait couter trop cher.
