This comb is gorgeous!
I'm so in love with this comb. It's very nice, it has a good weight to it and glides right through my hair. I have thin, naturally curly hair and this works perfectly. There's no smell and it appears to be will made. Nice and smooth finish.

Perfect for fine, wavy hair
This green sandalwood comb is a treasure and I want to keep it forever. I love the feel, weight, and shape of it. It is well made, as is the pretty green pouch that comes with it. The comb is super smooth and feels really nice through my hair. It glides well and does not change or frizz my waves and curls, which is very important for me.

Bad smell
The comb itself is fine but some of my desire for a sandalwood comb is that it would smell like sandalwood and this just had a very chemical sent that is unpleasant.

you need this in your life.
The smell of the pure sandalwood is heavenly. I have thick curly hair (a mix of thick and fine hairs, some tightly curled, others wavy), and this glides through easily when dry, but I try to go slow and be more gentle when the hair is wet. This replaced my plastic comb because the wood does not cause static in the hair like the plastic does, which then breaks hair. The wood keeps hair smooth and static-free. I use it on my hair wet and dry. I prefer it over a (boar bristle) brush because the boar bristles separate my curls, but the wooden comb keeps them tight and bouncy while also detangling. I just love this comb. I want to get it as gifts for all the girlies in my life. I think anyone would love this comb.To maintain, I take a cotton washcloth, put a few teaspoons of coconut oil on it, and rub it all over the wood and through the bristles. I do this about once a week or so and make sure to never get it wet. This keeps it very clean.

Nice, purse size comb
This comb is small, thick, and appears sturdy. The wood is attractive and is smooth (no snags).I have curly, thick and somewhat dry, hair, lots of it! The tines on the comb are wide and detangle my hair nicely without pulling or breakage.Fits nicely in my smallest festival purse.

This is a very nicely made wooden comb
Another Amazon reviewer alerted her readers that plastic combs have a ridge in between the teeth because of the molds. Those can catch and break hair. I no-poo my hair daily so I use a comb each time to help detangle it while it is wet. My hair is fine textured. This wooden comb, being wide toothed and smooth between the teeth, glides through my hair nicely.I noted from another Amazon reviewer that some of the wooden combs also have a kind of ridge between the teeth, especially the finer-toothed combs. S/he had a close-up photo of this. This may be because of an attempt to produce them more quickly. Those ridges could also break hair.

When they say it's a wide tooth comb, they mean WIDE! xD
My husband jokingly asked if this comb was for dreadlocks, considering the teeth are pretty wide apart. And maybe my head's small, but it isn't really good as a massage type comb, either, as it feels like only one or two "teeth" actually rest on my head as a time. (I've no idea, lol...)The comb itself is pretty and very comfortable to hold. It's on the larger side and the wood is smooth. It detangles just fine, similar-ish to finger detangling.
