Best Magsafe for SUV or Car, Using RAM Mount Arm and 17mm to 1" Adapter
UPDATEI still love the amazing Belkin MagSafe car charger. My update is for a MagSafe case, one manufacturer, MagBak for iPhone 12, 13 and soon, 14. It is the strongest MagSafe case you can buy. Not on Amazon, go for it. A 12 with this case stuck in a lifted wrangler LJ, off road, amazing. Good luck. The research was hard and challenging to get the best wireless magnetic charger for both iphone XS max and iphone 13 pro. My requirements was 10+ watts of charging and strong magnetism, no phone drops over bumps. I own an Apple iPhone XS Max and Iphone 13s. I was looking for 10+ watts of charging, to be able to run WAZE and streaming, while driving. Also, driving a Jeep Wrangler SUV, the magnetism has to be strong for a phone not to drop. The Apple Magsafe puck charger is not stong. For the XS Max, I used a clear case and the stick on Sinjimoru M-Plate. For the Iphone 13 Pro's, I used a good Magsafe case. The result Magnetism: Perfect and strong over large bumps, no phone drop. Charging: Using a USBC watt meter, both phones showed between 10-11 watts, amazing. The phones in their magsafe cases, also still work on the at home wireless chargers. One note, I wanted to use the Belkin in a RAM mount setup, using the dual 17mm to 1" double RAM mount adapter, perfect. I have the Ram mounts with 1" sockets and the adapter pops right into the Belkin. No need to use the vent mounts in my Jeep. The Belkin did such a great job, thinking of using in both my childrens cars that dont have the ability to use RAM mounts. Experience feedback, the magnetic cases for the XS Max are not strong enough. Use the Sinjimoru M-Plate and a thin case. The "best" Magsafe chargers, other than the Belkin, are not strong enough and dont provide 10+ watts of charging. The highly rated, ESR Halo, was strong, but I only measured 5 watts of charging. Summary: Use the Belkin Magsafe compatible charger, best magnetism and charging, use Sinjimoru M-Plate and thin case for XS Max, iphone 11/11Pro, and use a good quality Magsafe case for the Iphone 12/13. Good Luck

Strong grip and Decent Charging Time
This car mount after a few months of use has been nothing but fantastic all the way from it's easy installation to the magnets that have held up to some pretty bumpy drives. Speaking of the magnets, the main draw of this is that it has wireless charging capability, which while not as fast as a wired charger is surprisingly quick. From about 10%, it took roughly an hour and a half to hit 85%, although mileage may vary depending on your phone. Highly recommend!

honesty
someone recommend this to me but i give it 4 stars because it doesn’t stay in place. it’s kind of flimsy and can take a while to charge your phone. also, it goes into a vent… so depending on the day, your phone can over heat!

I really wanted to make it work
Really nice mount. It has the circle of magnets and the lower magnet to prevent the phone from spinning. So it is a true MagSafe. It also chargers pretty fast. The issue is my phone case is only a bumper case and the power cord placement on the bottom kept pushing on the bottom of the phone causing it to keep slipping off the mount. I tried really hard to buy different cables. But after buying 2 different cables, trying every cable in my house, and bringing the mount into Best But to shop cables, I ultimately ended up having to return it. I am giving it 5 stars because my phone case is pretty unique. Any other mag safe case would work.

A very good mount and charger for my Galaxy S10 FE with magsafe case
I love how this mounts to my vents so I don't have to deal with suction cups continuously coming un-suctioned. The part that connects to the vents is made of a rubber that is very high friction so it's mount quality is extremely sturdy. The magnet part is very strong, providing great overall performance. My phone doesn't have 15 watt wireless charging, but the charging feature activates immediately upon mounting my phone Even though I have a Samsung that isn't made for magsafe tech, it's a case tech, not a phone tech, so it's not actually exclusive to iPhone. If I could say anything about a negative, it would be that I wish it were on some kind of arm to give a vertical movement to the connection point so the phone could sit a little higher. Other mounts do have this feature, Belkin should as well for being a premium brand.

Good Charger that cuts corners with attachment. Guaranteed to fall apart eventually.
Had this for many years now but it finally failed on me. Charger hardware, MagSafe etc is all fine. However the gripper has been really loose on me and I didn't really know why. I finally took it apart and found that the screw that holds the gripper in place is loose. Upon closer inspection, the assembly is simply a rubber gripper, with a stamped sheet metal grip, screwed into place with a self tapping screw into some plastic. Naturally what happens is that the self tapping screw gets loose over time and eventually can never be tightened once you strip all the plastic. If this was a 20usd no name product this might be acceptable, but I expected more coming from a brand name 50usd product. now I'm off to see if I can repair this on my own.
