Great little printer to use with my laptop. It has about an 8 inch by 15 inch foot print. On a small table next to my easy chair and laptop computer. It will print and copy just fine. Will not scan. I have another main computer with a fully functional scan, front and back printing etc. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Small footprintWireless connectivity:I use it on USBEase of use:Simple to set up. The claim is that the item is "refurbished" to Amazons standards. Either Amazons standards are so low that sellers can just ship out crap that isn't refurbished, or the seller never refurbished the item. The cartridges that came with the printer show they are full. However, the black (a third party manufacturer, not oem HP) is more like a ghosted print with no readable print. Just a very faint image and mostly blank spaces where letters should be. The color cartridge was still sealed in the package and appeared to be new. Nothing with color ever prints. NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING EVER EVER EVER prints color. NOTHING!!!!!!! Not being a repair technician even I know that the print head is bad. If I know this then how is it that the repair techs don't?. Send me an application to apply for a job. At least being a lay person would explain why the seller sends out crap. CRAP,CRAP,CRAP AND MORE CRAP, AD INDINITUM. I don't even speak or read latin and even I know what that phase means. Crap, crap, crap. I was hoping that as advertised that the printer would at least work, but no. "HP Crap as usual". I needed something small form factor and the HP was all there was. What a waist of money. CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP.................. No stars for the seller, none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazon won't let me post this review without at least one star. I choose one star under protest.

When something is labeled as "refurbished", I am always wary, but I needed a printer for a Christmas project and I needed one fast. I don't typically use a printer for everyday use, so price point was also a heavily considered factor: I wanted something affordable and practical.The printer works perfectly for printing (haven't tried using it any other way). It was a little tricky to set up but the manual was very helpful. Couldn't figure out the wireless mode, but it worked fine with the provided USB. It does its job and printed beautifully on cardstock for paper crafts. It's nice and compact and easy to store away when not in use. The printer itself is lightweight and doesn't have too many components, so it could also be brought along somewhere if needed without too much hassle.Definitely recommend for someone who doesn't need a printer too often, but would like to have one at home for those unexpected moments. Probably too small and not enough ink for someone who heavily uses a printer (ie - office jobs, work from home, etc.)

I thought it'd be easy enough to reconnect to different network after moving, but it hasn't been communicating with my hp laptops.. it always prints out guides that can help me get the solution which, is nice. But I continue to have connection problems.

This was my first time purchasing any “refurbished” equipment such as a printer. I was really skeptical initially. I was very pleased to receive it with all on the necessary cords as well as set up instructions.However, my only disappointment was/is that the previous Factory Warranty was Expired at least a year and something. I had to go to Amazon’s site and purchase it.

The printer itself is exactally as advertised. There were no instructions on how to connect it to wifi or my devices, but a quick Google search fixed that issue. I would recommend resetting the wifi on the printer before attempting to do the set up - again found through a quick Google search.My biggest complaint is the ink that was sent with the printer is defective. Despite the printer reading all ink levels full, the black and magenta are empty. The black cartridge is considerably lighter than the other one and will not print any further ink. The picture shown was the first thing I attempted to print and the black did just fine at first as did the magenta before quickly running out signaling the ink is not in fact full. I will be ordering new ink in the hopes this solves the issue

When I first bought this I didn't see the "refurbished" in the title name, once I seen that it said that I was a little freaked out as I know how amazon grades their refurbished items (former processor/picker/packer and stower @ a return fulfillment center) and I know that half of those people in all of those areas half a$$ do anything. But I have to say it has done a good job so far, other than it trying to do repeated prints that I have to hastily press the cancel button. Other than that, it was very well packaged, looked pretty much brand new.
