Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Cat Treats, Rabbit Bites 0.9 oz

My cats love all treats. Not these. My cats have stock in Vital, so they won't meow to me about it. They just let the treats sit in my hand, on the floor, on the table, in a bowl... and walk away.

I assumed because he was an outside cat prior to being mine he would enjoy rabbit but he just doesn’t enjoy that flavor in any productBesides that you get alot for the price and it’s one ingredient so you can’t go wrong there

My cats wouldn’t eat these. One cat is a finicky eater, so no surprise there. The other will try most things, but couldn’t seem to get past how hard these were. She gave it a good effort, putting it in her mouth multiple times, but she wouldn’t chew or swallow it. I think that had it been softer or had it been more savory (salt?) she would have chewed and enjoyed it.

It’s obvious these are a one ingredient treat which is perfect for my kitty with a sensitive tummy

My cats love this product and I have bought these at another source before for my cats. I usually crumble them over their canned food. The ones I received are incredibly hard and won't crumble, maybe with a hammer? I definitely cannot give them to my cats to eat. Maybe they were over processed? I threw the first opened bag out. I did check the expiration dates and they were for 2024 so they weren't expired, the second bag has the same expiration date. Very disappointed.

I must have super picky kitties! They turned their noses up and just walked away. This was not the treat for them. I loved the ingredient list and the change in meat variety. Maybe other kitties will love them.

Kind of expensive but the dried rabbit is a good size to use in my Cat Amazing Slider Puzzle (also purchased on Amazon). They must be good because my cat is wiling to spend as much time as it takes to get her reward!

My two boys love a novel protein in their diets to keep things exciting, and rabbit is one of those I turn to in order to spark their interest and keep them eating healthy. These did not disappoint.At first they weren't sure about these. They don't look like your usual little cat treats. Once I got them to taste a little bit, they were ready to crunch on these freeze dried nibbles. They're healthy and a fantastic reward for bonding or for being Very Good Kitties.Any way you go about it, they are a hit with these two very food motivated felines. They haven't turned one down since that first bite.The only issue I have with these is they're a little larger than the usual housecat likes to snatch up and eat. With that, I have one wobbly cat who has a heck of a time eating one if I don't break it up first. Smaller pieces would be ideal, so these will probably only be a once in a while purchase. Aside from that, I love that these are a treat and entirely within a good diet for my cats.
