Perfect bread knife — super long for homemade loaves!
This a a GREAT bread knife. We’ve been baking all sorts of homemade bread lately, including some really big loaves made in a super-size Dutch oven.Well, anyone who’s made a big round loaf of bread learns very quickly that a “regular” bread knife won’t cut it (pun intended). Even a relatively long bread knife won’t work well with a giant Dutch-oven loaf! But this knife is perfect — nice and heavy build, sharp serrations, and EXTRA LONG!You can’t go wrong with this knife (unless you only have very short utensil drawers, since you’ll need to store them somewhere)

Great quality, well balanced.
Excellent quality for the price. Full tang, good balance. Serrated knives, at the end of the day, are just that. For the the utility it provides, you're better off with 5 of these vs 1 high end German model. However, this is not as true for non Serrated knives that need to kept sharp for daily use.

Great Knife -- Ergonomically Perfect for Slicing Bread, Tomatoes and More
It's sharp! The offset handle makes it oh-so-easy to evenly and neatly slice through bread. This knife also is my go-to when slicing tomatoes too. It makes short work of big, juicy tomatoes. Whether you prefer thick or thin slices, with the Humbee knife in hand every slice will be neat and even. Great knife, excellent value. Recommended.

good knife, priced well, could be sharper though
I bought this in Sept 2024 to replace my older bread knife. I like the offset feature. It is easier to cut bread with, and it's better for my hands as I've had a bunch of surgeries. It's definitely not razor sharp. I'd give it a 5 star if it was sharper blade. It's a good knife though not amazing. I only paid $11 last month and now it's $15 in Oct 2024. We need more consistent and stable vendor pricing.

Good bread knife, heavy enough to chop wood with
Full tang knife, built like a tank, heavy like a tank, sharp like a razor blade. It has heavy thick blade and in smaller hands it may be ungainly and look like a sword instead. Make sure you buy it for what it is, and you will not be disappointed. I am happy with my purchase as I expected it to be what is really is. A bread chopper, wood chopper, smaller sword, etc...! BTW: it is 2mm thick and tapers towards the sharp side.

Great alternative use!
Sorry chefs…but I bought this to use for cutting fiberglass insulation, not bread and it worked perfect for the job. Whoever discovered this use was a game changer. I am assuming that if it worked this well on insulation, it will do a fantastic job on bread! I’ve gotten it all cleaned up and I am looking forward to using it as it was intended. Doesn’t cut homemade sourdough bread well
This knife doesn’t cut homemade sourdough bread very well. It creates a lot of crumbs and for some reason it is very difficult to cut straight. I have since replaced it with another knife that doesn’t create a lot of crumbs and does cut straight. There is something out of balance about this knife. It might be good for cutting large cuts of meat maybe, but not for bread.
