EAI Education Jumbo Magnetic X-Y Coordinate Grid

I used this at the high school and middle school levels as a special education teacher. This was one of my favorite purchases! So convenient. I didn’t have to draw graphs on the board. It helped with transitions and maximizing learning in the classroom. It erases easily. I used dry erase cleaner on it. It’s magnetic and stays in place when using. Love this item!

Easy to put up. Panels can be used together or separately. Easy to clean. Corners can get a little messed up but overall a great tool for any math classroom. Makes drawing graphs infinitely easier.

These magnetic graphs are handy, sturdy, and very convenient to use. We display them on a white board which is not magnetic, so we use blue tape to hold them up. It works great! Also, we put all 4 together to get a nice, big graph. We ordered a set of 4 a year ago and just ordered 2 more sets. I highly recommend this product.

These are the handiest teaching tools for a Math teacher...let me tell you. I can arrange them to make a nice 20 x 20 (spanning from -10 to 10) coordinate grid and I can use them individually to make smaller 10 x 10 (spanning -5 to 5) coordinate grids.I have used them to teach everything from absolute value, integers, constant of proportionality, transformations, Pythagorean theorem, and slope. So it is a multi grade tool. I have used them for two years, when cleaned they look brand new, of course you will have some wear on the edges where you pick them up from the magnetic white boards, but with quality dry erase markers they have lasted. I contemplated getting a second set if these wore out, but they are going on year 3...so no need yet.

I was so excited to get to use this only to find out that I don’t have a surface to stick it to. It will not stick to my whiteboard, other magnets do but not this. So sad I have to return it.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. You can clearly see this from all parts of a classroom and the magnetic connection to the board is COMPLETELY stable with no sliding or left-over markings. After a few weeks I was concerned that the markers were leaving scuff-marks behind but I found that a small amount of Clorox-type spray onto a soft cloth cleans it perfectly with no scratching or discoloration of the original grid lines. Also, try to refrain from not cleaning it over the weekend and this concern is completely eliminated. This is much better than the more expensive drop-down coordinate plane because there is a solid surface to write on and wipe-off. It also surpasses a projected image because students are able to add, view, or transform shapes and lines effortlessly.

I use this in my classroom almost everyday. I teach Algebra and Geometry and this is perfect. Sticks to whiteboard perfectly and can be used seperately or together. After a day I do use a liquid clearner to get all the marker residue off.

I use it all the time, the magnet is strong and it erases well but will stain a little if you leave the writing on it for too long. The stain however is very faint. I recommend cleaning after each use. It’s been 2+ years and I won’t ever need to replace it. Totally worth!
