This one doesn't emit ammonia in curing, (that's the sensor safe thing) and has a near zero vapor pressure once cured, making it valuable to seal tiny leaks in vacuum systems at a tiny fraction of the cost of the "pro" stuff sold to those who don't know this.Yes, it works on your auto, too.The other good one is the red hi-temp stuff (but for different reasons) - it's very hard to ruin the red stuff with heat....

I've used permatex products for many years for many things and have been impressed with nearly every application I have tried it on. Better than regular RTV silicones for jobs that will be exposed to oil products.

Great product to use with Ford engine blue engines. I hate looking down at a new rebuilt engine, rather it was painted red, orange, black, and the gasket sealant is standing out because it is a different color completely.
