Guaifenesin Cough and Mucus Relief Extended-Release Tablets, 600 mg, 12 Hour Expectorant, 20 Count

I picked up Amazon Basic Care Guaifenesin 600 mg Extended-Release hoping it would be a solid substitute for the name-brand version, and honestly, I like it more. It works just as well (if not better) at loosening mucus and helping my cough feel more productive, and I don’t feel like I’m paying extra just for packaging. What I liked: Works well: Noticeable relief and it does what guaifenesin is supposed to do. Quality: Feels comparable to the name brand in every way. Ease of swallow: The tablets are easy enough to take with water and don’t have a weird taste. Value: Same active ingredient, same dose, extended-release, for a much better price. This is my go-to from now on. If you usually buy the name brand, this is an easy switch.

Way better than the competitors! I love the Amazon brand of this medicine. It works SO well and is way more affordable. I has the same ingredients so you are getting the same quality at a much cheaper price. They are a little bigger than I would like when I have a cold but still not as bad as some of the others. It is a little hard to swallow if you have a sore throat or lots of mucus but you dont have to take them as often as other types of cold medicine. I always have this stuff on hand for when cold and flu season is here. Makes me feel so much better and so quickly.

I am taking this in case I have any mucus building up in my lungs, since I have a bad cough. It seems to be working well.

I took Mucus ER expecting it to gently help me breathe. Instead, it declared war on my lungs and won by total evacuation. Roughly two hours after swallowing the pill (which, by the way, is the size of a small barge), I began coughing with the enthusiasm of a Victorian orphan with plot relevance. My sinuses emptied, my chest loosened, and I may have achieved a minor exorcism. This stuff works. It doesn’t ask for permission. It kicks open the door and starts packing your mucus’s bags. Why 4 stars? Because while it did its job, it also had some… unintended side effects. I coughed so hard I questioned several life decisions. I became personally acquainted with a tissue box. My coworkers asked if I was okay, and I replied only in wet, productive coughs. Still, I could finally breathe. Would I take it again? Yes. But only if I have nothing else planned for the next six hours except rewatching my regrets and hydrating aggressively.

I specifically wanted a product without certain common ingredients I can't have, and this one fit the bill. Works well and is good value for the money.

decided to try these as Mucinex is pretty expensive...contains the same ingredient and seems to work just as well..Mucinex is great stuff but to keep on hand on a regular basis this is a very good alternative

Apparently I cannot take this wow! it knocked me out, dizzy, light headed. I had no idea that could happen thankfully I was home.

Cheaper than most and works as well as any other.
