Works well on dry glass bowls and baking dishes
(Review updated 7-05-18)These work well on my DRY glass bowls and casserole dishes. If you open the lid to remove something, plan on drying the bowl/dish edges very well or the cover will not re-adhere to the bowl (or transfer to a clean bowl). This seems to be the reason for most of the negative reviews. I also noticed if the lid gets food on it, especially liquid or fat, it will be not adhere either. I simply grab another lid. These are pretty stretchy and the largest lid easily fits a 13 x 9" glass baking dish. But it doesn't QUITE make it over a 15x9" dish. What I like about these silicone lids is they provide an alternative to standard plastic wrap or lids. Plastic wrap is especially toxic and should not be used for food storage, ever. Even if it is doesn't touch the food it can off-gas some pretty toxic chemicals including phthalates and PVC. I do not use hard plastic lids either. These silicone lids provide an alternative. Glass tops are best of course but this isn't always possible, especially with casserole dishes or glass baking pans that might not have matching glass covers. Although silicone is a safer type of plastic (it's in the rubber category) I still try not to let the lid make contact with food. I also do not cook with silicone, regardless of if it states this is safe. Heated rubber will leach - the FDA simply "allows" levels of toxins because they pander to corporate interests. This doesn't mean they are safe for you or. (A good example is lead. The FDA allows what they consider "safe" levels, while the CDC states "there is NO safe level of lead." Typical.) Also, not all food safe labeled silicone is safe IMO. Silicone can vary significantly. But, as a research nutritionist these covers passed my tests:1) Smell or odor - there is no chemical or petroleum odor with this product. Industrial silicone (sometimes passed off as "FDA food safe" by dishonest sellers) can smell like petroleum or chemicals so beware. If it emits an odor that does not go away after washing never use it for food as the chemicals will continue to off-gas into your food.2) Clear silicone - colored or opaque silicone has added chemicals making it harder to test (item 3 below) - but not impossible. 3) "Twist test". Even FDA food safe silicone can legally be made with some pretty toxic chemicals. The EU has slightly stricter standards (EFSA - European Food Safely Authority) than the US's FDA.How to test - tightly twist a small portion of the silicone. It should show little to no "white" in the compressed part. My own experience has also shown that medical grade silicone will produce no white discoloration at all, and the more chemicals added the more "white" will appear, even in food safe rated silicone. (This is a very unscientific test - I found it online and it seems to work... the more "white" that appears the more smell I've detected which is indicative of chemicals that are off gassing.) The twisted part will also produce a white color when colors are added, hence more chemicals have been used. This product is the first food safe item I've actually encountered that "twists" almost identical to medical grade. (IE, no discernable discoloration.) But take this for what it's worth. You can also consider using natural beeswax/cotton wraps for covers. These are my first preference, again, only if glass covers are not available, but they can be pricey and generally need to be changed out every six months or so. They also are not air tight, which these covers are.BTW, I also tried some silicone flat covers available on Amazon (they come in various sizes of flat, silicone squares) and they were a nightmare to pull apart - they have some kind of chemical coating intended to help them adhere to a dish. This coating, other than being an unknown and likely toxic chemical, causes the pieces to clump together, so pulling them apart is reminiscent of trying to reuse a piece of cling wrap. Here's what I purchased and sent back: https://www.amazon.com/Silicone-GANJOY-Stretch-Reusable-Environmental/dp/B071S74XR1/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref=yo_pop_d_pd_titleIn summary, go with beeswax covers if your budget allows. These make a decent backup, but I'd like to see the price at $15 or below, hence a 4 star review.Note: I upgraded my review from 4 stars to 5 because the seller actually watches her reviews and responds. Good customer service is paramount with any product and I take this into consideration when rating my reviews. If you have product problems or questions you're likely to get a favorable response.

I don't like it at all
If the postage for return wouldn't cost more than the product, I would return it for sure. Doesn't work at all, doesn't stick to anything. The description says you can adjust it to any size. I don't like it at all, it ended up in basement because I felt bad just to throw it out. I have been using the Stretch-tite plastic food wrap for ever and will be using it for ever. Very disappointed with this product.

I really wanted to like the stretch lids
I really wanted to like the stretch lids, and I do, except when they slide off on their own in the refrigerator. It is almost impossible to cover a bowl, refrigerate it, take the bowl from the refrigerator and remove a portion of food, and then try to replace the stretch cover. It just does not work when there is any moisture on the bowl. That would mean placing the food into another room temperature container and re-using the stretch lid. Not very practical. They work well on non-refrigerated glass containers. I used the large lid on a 9" x 13" cake pan; it worked the first time, but not the second. In addition, the food cannot be over the top of the container.

They work well but are not resistant at all. ...
They work well but are not resistant at all. After using a few times only, one of the lids ripped on the side. I will not buy more. I was hoping to buy something that I could use again and again, not just a few times before it breaks.

These really fit the large casseroles
I had ordered another set of silicone lids that were supposed to fit casseroles up to 11 inches but they didn't. I sent them back and the Amazon representative was kind enough to go through all the silicone lids offered and find these for me. They are great! They fit my 11" oval corning ware and my round 8" corning ware and many other dishes that I didn't even think about covering. I will be using less plastic wrap and love these lids because even though they are pretty stretchy they are strong enough to be put on top of each other to save space. in the Frig.

Disappointing. Or maybe I'm just clumsy.
While these do stretch, trying to stretch them to fit a bowl that was even a little bit larger than the diameter of the bowl is not as easy as it appears. Definitely not something you want to try with spaghetti sauce, as I found out the hard way. The one I used to try to cover a bowl with sauce snapped loose on the one side while I was trying to secure the other. Somehow, in some sort of physics/logic defying reaction, the lid managed to scoop up sauce with the edge that snapped loose. Since I was trying to simultaneously hold the sides while pulling that last edge down, I also managed to punch my thumbs into the sauce, while the handy little triangle shaped tab on the side decided to take a dip in the sauce and gleefully flip that sauce onto my shirt. Clearly, these lids are not for accident-prone individuals. If the lids are larger than the bowl you have, they are useless. If they are too small, you can make them stretch but these seem to work best on bowls that are just slightly larger than the lid. This makes most of the lids I bought pretty worthless, since most of my bowls don't seem to be the correct sizes. Unfortunately for me, most of these will eventually wind up as landfill fodder. Which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by buying them.I own a fairly large set of glass storage bowls from anchor-hocking that I needed replacement lids for. These lids do not work well with most of the sizes in that set. At least not for a dexterity-impaired individual like myself. I also have the pyrex anniversary set bowls with the ridges and one of the lids in this set fit one of the bowls in that.

Very Useful product
Good variety of sizes. I'm going to reduce my plastic wrap consumption so these will pay for themselves. They work on round, oval, rectangular or square containers - Just make sure they are dry. The large lid fits my big salad bowl perfectly. I love that they are clear so I can see what's inside. Very happy !

parfait
ce produit est tel que décrit. je ne l'ai utilisé que sur du verre pour l' instant, ça adhère bien à condition de le choisir un peu plus petit que le plat.
