Yes, this drum set comes with a cute little stool.

Is this set suitable for a 7 year old?

No, it is not. We bought this for our 2-year-old grandson. The stool will be much too short. He will not be able to play the foot pedal and the drums are too small for a 7 year old. I would recommend 4 years and under.
