Wild Hare Shooting Gear Deluxe Divided Shot Shell Pouch

This is a nice bag but it is not made in the USA as the second bullet point in the list of features states.

Far more tough, durable, and useful, than any for sale at my sporting clays club at a better price. Easily holds 100 12 gauge rounds in two separate pouches. ( I suggest you also buy two golf towels with the quick release clips on them, to attach to the golf towel hookpoint on the side of this shotshell pouch... great for handling a little sweat on hot days. The velcro flap pocket on side will hold ear plugs, glasses, eyeglass micro-cloth...

The belt is about two inches wide and just too thick for this application. The shell elastics are too tight and the hand placement is too high and not very ergonomic or functional. It's awkward to have to grab shells from that high. They should be on the face of the bag since that's where you hands naturally extend. A work around would be to place the shells upside down and push them down as you load. I ended up going for the Benelli shell bag. I think the Wild Hare bags look nicer and I like the pocket it has. The Benelli bag does not have a pocket, but overall, the bag is more functional. I'd skip this product and go for the Benelli Lodge Collection Large Shell Pouch Olive Waxed Cotton.

Okay so the pouch itself is a solid 4 stars. The buckle/belt is one star!!!Or maybe 0 stars because the buckle failed to latch and was useless. The problem is the buckle was molded with the locking prongs way too compressed and this prevented them from snapping into the locked position.Now the pouch itself was worth the price and I was for sure gonna keep it and just replace the janky belt with a proper duty type belt.But I thought I'd try and correct the buckle issue anyway.I took the buckle off the belt - heated the plastic with a heart gun - wedged an empty 12gauge hull to spread the prongs - chilled the buckle in the fridge and POW!!! It holds tight. So I reckon I'll use the crappy belt for a bit.It still sucks to have to "fix" brand new shit.

Sturdy and will hold up. Good capacity.

Great bag for the money. I use the front pocket for chokes. It can hold the boxes of full shells. The only down side is the buckle is very cheap.

Great shell bag, pouch is big enough to hold about 50 empties,not too bulky when driving golf cart between shooting stations, really satisfied with it.

Typical Wild Hare quality. Well made product. Nice to have an additional pouch for choke tubes or other small items. Would have given it 5 stars but the belt is way too large, to the point of being almost ridiculous.
