This is a nicely constructed, heavy welding blanket. The brass grommets are tight and the hems well stitched. I'm pleasantly surprised about the quality vs price point.

These are very important and worked for me.

The size of this blanket is more than enough to tackle any job you may have. I clamp this to my work shop bench to collect any metal schrapnel and sparks when grinding lawn mower blades. It's a very slick and necessary item to have to help snuff out sparks and flames. The quality of thr product and what you pay is well worth thr money. I've had no problems at all protecting near by items from sparks and flames.

It’s a good size to weight ratio. The blanket itself is well made. The bag though failed on the third use.

I live near an open field and get a lot of wind in my backyard. When I grill on windy days I can't get a steady temperature on my grill and wanted to get something to block the wind so bought this cover. My initial concern was that the cover would just blow off the grill unless I anchored it somehow. To my surprise this blanket was heavy. It was large enough to cover the seams of the grill where air was getting into and it was heavy so didn't blow away. I use this on windy days and now my grill can keep a steady temperature. Great blanket for the money and seems like it will last for a long time for what I'm using it for.

Heavy duty blanket. Lots of grommets to hang it. Did not have any fiberglass filaments on like some have stated. Bought to keep sparks contained while grinding. Got two for the price of one at Harbor Freight. Nicely packaged, but haven’t tried to refold and put back in sleeve but there are directions to do that.

Learned that you get what you pay for.... I paid $26.00 for this 4 X 6 fiberglass blanket. I hung this fiberglass blanket behind my blacksmith anvil to act as a heat shield. Its purpose is to prevent grinder sparks & hot iron debris from a striking hammer from hitting and lodging into the wood slat wall (keeping the fire dept away). More details: it is hanging by gravity 6 inches away from a wood slat wall using a curtain rod with brackets and S-hooks threaded thru the brass grommets. In less than two weeks the top edge grommets have pulled out from the fabric. Flipped the blanket over and the same thing happened again - pulled out grommets. This happened via gravity - not using bungee cords that could be too much tension. I'll continue to use this blanket but now I'm using plastic cable ties threaded thru the enlarged edge holes and cinching it tightly to the curtain rod to keep it in place. We'll see what happens.... Just disappointed how quickly this fell apart hanging in an interior shed space.

No sirve para lo que indica, que es resistir gotas de soldadura y proteger lo que cubre. Se quema y se deshilacha muy fácil. Muy frágil. No la recomiendo

Die Abmase sind wie angegeben einzelne fasern sind anbgegangen aber nur am Rand! Der Vorhand ist sehr stabil und beim Schweißen und schleifen kommt nichts durch den Vorhang! Gutes Teil für den Heimwerker!

Decent price, came fairly quickly, using for hot tent for ice fishing. I haven't seen how it handles heat yet. I will do follow up after I try it.
