Is it suitable for electric bicycle?

I don't see why not however I have no experience of electric bikes. But I would think a bike chain is just that.

Will it protect against an angle grinder?

Probably not as angle grinders can cut trough most thing , we bought for sons Fido bike but only use on school grounds , still wouldn’t leave it in likes of shopping Center or gym
