UPDATED REVIEW
Ordered this unit to replace a 35+ year old wired unit from Radio Shack that is extremely accurate, and still works. Older tech, LCD screen is deteriorating, and getting harder to read. My top priorities needed in a weather station are in the following order: #1 Must have accurate readings inside and outside of temps and humidity. #2 Must have accurate barometric reading. Ability to calibrate to your area, as this one does, is huge. #3 Well laid out screen, bright, easy to read from any angle. This unit excells. It is perfect. readings are extremely accurate. Readings match my old unit. I've also verified readings with the NOAA's data station from two local airports, less than 15 miles from our rural residence, and is spot on. The forecast feature is mostly accurate. Manual states about a 75% accuracy, and I find that about true. The manual is very well written, and was a snap to set up as well. Features that are a nice touch, but not needed for my needs. Moon phase, alarm, date, and atomic time, hi and lo's recorded from the past 24 hours. The reason I say the unit is almost perfect, is the atomic clock self setting feature. As other reviewers have stated, it's hit or miss getting the reception from Colorado. Kind of a pain every hour having the screen blank out for a few minutes while it searches for a signal. I knew this going in prior to purchase, and knew that where this unit was going to be placed in my home, I had almost zero chance of getting a good signal and was correct in that assumption. No big deal. Disabled the atomic clock per the manual's instruction, and old school set the date and time. Clock keeps perfect time, no blanking out of display, Problem solved. One other note that I had read in reviews on other weather units, not mentioned in this manual. Use Lithium batteries in the remote sensor unit. They will tolerate very cold temps, (-40), I live in WI, and yes, it gets very COLD. Alkaline batteries tend to leak, and won't last as long. The remote sensor works quit far from the main unit, no issues with a solid signal. Time will tell on the overall durability of this unit. Overall I'm very satisfied with Newentor. Excellent product. 2025 UPDATE: Purchased a 2nd unit for another location in my home, and the ability to monitor two outbuildings. Works perfect, the new unit locked on to the atomic clock signal immediately. My first unit is still going strong. Customer service is EXCELLENT! Had a technical question prior to purchasing my 2nd unit, Rachel responded to my questions promptly. Great company, Buy with confidante.

So far so good
After being disappointed in many other (big name) home weather set-ups, I decided to try this brand. One that I had not heard of before. Now its only been a week, but we gave this 5 stars so far for: 1). Clear, big screen that you can see from a distance and all angles 2). Multi Channels to set-up on, this is big if you have other devices sending out signals 3). Accuracy (so far) in and out 4). Relatively easy set-up (but the instructions could be written clearer) If this holds-up over time? We will be happy with the purchase...

Pretty accurate (except for the clock)
Only 4 stars for this because the clock keeps losing time. We can't get it to connect to the atomic clock so we have to set it. It takes awhile to lose time: this morning it was 4 minutes slow (February) after setting it back to EST in November. Other than that, it works great! The large display has 3 brightness settings, the numbers are large & easy to read across the room, and the weather prediction area is more accurate than the local forecasters (even for unexpected lake effect events). We keep it plugged in, but it has a battery option, which is handy for blackouts. We bought an extra sensor to put upstairs in our attic crawlspace where the plumbing is to monitor the winter temperatures in order to prevent burst pipes. The only other *little* negative is that the button to switch between sensors is on the back and I consistently bump the very touchy dim switch that's situated right in the middle on top of the unit. Oh, and the external sensors are nice because they have a little display so I can read the actual temp & humidity when I'm outside.

The newest Newentor Q7 Weather Station is excellent
I recently bought the Newentor Q7 Weather Station. I have owned the Newentor Q3 model for several years and have been well satisfied with it, so I decided to try the new Q7. I have attached photos of the new Q7 and also of the older Q3 to illustrate my comments below. First, the set-up of the Q7 is super easy and the set-up buttons have been relocated to the back of the unit (as opposed to the side of the Q3). The Q7 synchs quickly and easily to the remote temperature/humidity sensor. As a test for the atomic clock function, I purposely did not set the initial time on the unit, and instead let it synch with the atomic clock on its own, which it did with a few hours. All in all, fast and easy set-up. To me the major difference with the Q7 is the screen display. The Q7 LED display seems brighter and has better contrast than the Q3; this is very apparent with the remote and indoor temperature numbers. The time display on the Q7 has been enlarged and relocated to the bottom-middle of the display, which helps because this is usually the first thing I check. The relative humidity displays are also a bit larger and have better contrast. There are several other more subtle improvements with the Q7, including that the LED screen can now be seen in all directions. In addition to the original absolute barometric pressure, the relative pressure has been added. The chip for measuring temperature and humidity is separated from the base station, which is intended to avoid any slight error that may be caused by the heat of the screen. On the Q7, the WWVB signal can be turned off, so that the time can be manually set where the signal is weak. Like the Q3, the Q7 can be operated on batteries or with the supplied AC power cord. When on batteries only, the unit goes to sleep after a few minutes and can be reopened by touching the Snooze button on the top of the unit. I prefer to use the AC power cord because then the display stays on constantly. To summarize, I was pleased with my Newentor Q3 unit, but the new Q7 has made some major improvements and upgrades. And at under $50 the price is excellent for the features you get. I rank this new Q7 as “excellent”. (FYI, I now use the Q7 as my principal weather station and keep it in my bathroom; I'm using the older Q3 in my office which works just fine.)

This is a very nice, bright and accurate weather display. Overall fit and finish looks good, the display is clear and bright, and appears to be very accurate compared to my other thermometers. It comes with the best user guide I've seen from an Amazon product! Well written, well organized and detailed. It automatically set the time, date and moon cycle within 2 minutes of being turned on. I was able to connect 2 older remote sending units from previous weather displays. The only thing to wish for was a usb power option as I'm off grid. I did find a usb to mini barrel plug cable in my parts bin that worked perfectly (shown in a separate picture, this usb cable is not included) Having indoor and multiple remote temps, humidity, barometer, date, time and moon cycle in one screen is fantastic. Excellent purchase so far.
