I was gifted the bronze version of this, and after looking at the colour on the tube, and then the product itself, was absolutely convinced that it would be far too dark for me – I am quite fair skinned, with blonde hair, and light eyebrows.However, I’ve got to say, that I am really very impressed! It genuinely is very buildable – I put the lightest little swipe on and then used a brush to diffuse it, and it looks absolutely sensational on my skin. I then experimented a bit by layering, and went from “sun-kissed” to “snatched” - fantastic! The colour on my skin works as a contour, bronzer, and I tried a bit on my lids as well, which gives a lovely shimmer.It really melts into the skin, so it’s very easy to use, and put it where you want. I also have extremely sensitive skin, hence the very small amount I put on first, as a lot of cosmetics make me itchy and red, but this has been fine so far.The only slight downside is that it is a bit expensive, but I can definitely see I’m going to use this very regularly, so if we are going on price per use, it’s probably quite a good value…!

When I ordered this it was described as a Boomstick Bronze buildable skincare and colour. I don’t normally go for bronzers, and I did wonder if it was going to be too harsh for someone of my age. The images showed how effective blending in was and I thought I would like to try this. The picture I have attached is the original application on the left and the blended in version on the right, next to it. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It is really creamy and does have a lovely, moisturized feel. It is much easier than I thought it would be to blend in, and I am very pleased with the result.

What I love about this product is its versatility—it is sheer enough to suit a variety of skin tones, and you can build the colour to go from a soft flush to something bolder.It also has a subtle sheen that adds a touch of luminosity, giving the skin a fresh, healthy radiance without any heavy shimmer.The creamy texture is lovely, gliding smoothly over the skin thanks to nourishing ingredients like shea butter and castor oil.Blending is also easy—whether with fingers, a brush, or a sponge—and the formula feels lightweight, leaving a velvety finish that does not feel greasy.It creates a soft, dewy look that is perfect for a natural, everyday glow.I found it especially kind to dry or mature skin, as it doesn’t accentuate texture or dryness like some blushes can.It has a faint, neutral scent from the natural oils and wears comfortably for several hours, though it doesn’t last all day.Unlike some blushes, this formula also offers a touch of hydration, making it a good choice for drier or cooler weather.Removal is easy with a regular cleanser or makeup remover.Despite my sensitive skin, this product caused no irritation—though I recommend a patch test beforehand, as always.Its multipurpose nature is another advantage, functioning as a blush, bronzer, or lipstick, making it a travel-friendly option.That said, it has a few drawbacks. It can smudge slightly if not set with a translucent powder or setting spray, especially in hot or humid conditions. There is also minor transfer onto clothing if it comes into direct contact, particularly before it fully sets. While it is less prone to this than very creamy formulas, it isn’t entirely transfer-proof.As a lipstick, it feels comfortable and hydrating but isn’t long-wearing, lasting about 2–3 hours under normal conditions, fading more quickly with eating or drinking. That said, it is great for soothing dry lips, particularly in colder months, though reapplication is needed. It clings slightly better than typical lip balms but falls short of true long-lasting formulas.It has a neutral, slightly waxy taste—not unpleasant but not sweet either.In summary, this is a good choice if you are after a natural, hydrating, and multi-functional product for a casual, low-maintenance look. However, if you need something transfer-proof or long-wearing, particularly for lips, it may fall short of expectations.

Boom Stick blends out beautifully and is at the perfect balance between neutral and cool - it bronzes as it contours.The formula for this cream stick is excellent; it is very easy to blend and doesn't disrupt my foundation base. When it sets, it dries to powder, so you don't need to set it - I sometimes do apply a setting powder anyway and it doesn't disrupt or cake around the formula. When it's set, that's it; it wears all day without budging [I've been caught out in the rain multiple times and haven't had any issues with it smudging or fading].

I liked the feel on my skin.I didn't like the size of the product for the money that I paid.

I was pleasantly surprised by this bronze stick as I wasn’t sure about the colour but it is super blendable and leaves you with a lovely glow. I love the creamy texture and it literally melts into the skin. I also found it very versatile and occasionally use it underneath eye shadow. It is buildable and the fact that it is vegan is also a plus.
