If you own a martial arts school, you must read this book! I used this book to start my leadership team and train a couple of instructors so I could take a vacation every once in a while. A couple months after I finished training everyone my wife was in a head on collision. She was in the hospital for 3 weeks, I spent most of my time with her. She has been left temporarily in a wheelchair and through this time I have been able to be away from my school so I can help her.If this accident had happened even 6 months earlier, my school would not have survived this time without the help I had gotten from this book.

You may be a very technically skilled martial artist, and the school you came from may have been large and "successful", but don't assume that you should do everything the way they did. I've enjoyed Mike's other books but I was looking for a way of lifting the game of my current instructors. The key message in this book was "grow your own"; grooming future instructors from the people you currently teach. So this book didn't meet my needs.
