LALAGEN Women's Plus Size Vintage 1950s Party Cocktail Wedding Swing Midi Dress

I bought this dress on a whim, with zero expectations, based on the mostly positive reviews. I love it. I love the fit, I love the pleating and pockets that work to hide my tummy, I love the length, I even love the material. It's fitted on top, but comfortable and flowy on the bottom. I don't mind that it needs to be dry cleaned because I dry clean most of my clothes anyway. I bought this as a back up dress for a special occasion, but now I think that I'll be selling the other dress and going with this one. I do plan on possibly adding an floral embellishment somewhere, for a pop of color, but other than that, this dress is a winner!

I struggle to find clothes that fit me perfectly and hide my insecurities, but this dress fits perfectly. I had to get my wedding dress custom to fit me and I got this dress for 2 weddings 'll be attending. Its so stretchy, almost like swim suit material. Its comfortable and IT HAS POCKETS! If you are plus size and struggling to find something that'll fit, please try this dress. Im not a dress wearer and I love it. Im going to put a sheer black long bell sleeve on under because I like long sleeves but it works as it is too. This is your sign. BUY IT!♡

Great dress, needed for a special event. Loved the length and the material has a good amount of give so it's snug but breathable. Sleeve is a little snug. Only thing that lessens the overall look was the long gold zipper down the back, wished it was black to blend in. Black was nice and perfect for many occasions.

The dress is beautiful but it runs big! I am using this dress for my courthouse wedding and was already planning to get it altered but if I wasn't, I would have definitely returned it and sized down. For reference I'm 5'2" 250 lbs. According to the size guide because my chest is 52 inches, 42 H bra size I should have gotten a 4x. I bought a 3x because the reviews said it runs big and the 3x was still too large on my chest. The dress comes down to my calves. And the zipper is gold which I did not realize when I was looking at pictures/ reviews. The dress is lovely and I got it quickly. It did not have any kind of a weird smell or anything. Overall, I would recommend it. I find it flattering when I pulled the fabric back while trying it on. I plan to shorten it and add a petticoat/slip under it so it can flare out more. I will also be adding a bridal belt with rhinestones in the front and maybe a bow on the back because the dress is a bit simple but that's just for my own preference. The picture is before the alterations so people can accurately gauge how big the dress runs.

I ordered this for my daughter. She got the purple. It is not purple. It is dark plum. It fit as it should. The fabric is thick but it leaves a lot to be desired. The zipper in the back is bulky and clashes with the dress. I guess you get what you pay for. It will work for what its intended for if we dont find anything better. First time ordering something like this from amazon and probably the last. I dont really recommend this particular dress.
