Easy install on my 1988 Fender American Standard strat. Very quiet, with warmer sound than original pickups. I'm quite pleased with these pickups.

AMAZING! Couldn't be happier with these!

I was nervous about spending this much. Especially since all three pick ups are 5K. It turns out that Lace knows what they are doing with this set. I cannot believe how much character and sustain this is given my old and admittedly cheap guitar. I’ve got friends who have begrudgingly admitted that my Yamaha Pacifica sounds just as good as their MIM and MIJ Fenders. Just don’t look too close at my photo of the wiring. I had all of the pots reversed and had to go back and redo them. Lace recommends that you use a .022 capacitor with these and 250K pots. They were very generous with the amount of wire coming out of these pick ups and I was able to use it to wire in the rest of the guitar. Pay very close attention to the gapping they recommend between the pick ups in the strings. It makes a huge difference!

I am very pleased with these pickups. I wanted to find a set of noiseless pickups that still sounded like a Strat. These were the first set I tried, and I haven't felt the need to look elsewhere. I put these in a MIM Strat that I use for lead in a worship band. The stock pickups sounded okay, but I could hear some faint hum when I played clean, low volume parts. When I switched to these I was very impressed. I can get that same classic Strat sound, but these are flexible enough for me to go way beyond. They provide the perfect sonic palette to express your creativity.

Ordered the first set and it was missing all the mounting screws and tubing so I returned it. The second set came in but one of the wires to the pickups wasn't even connected to the pick up housing! No quality control from this seller apparently.

Beautifully clean sound. I am a little disappointed that the volume is not as strong as the low budget singles, but the trade off for me is I like the clean undistorted sound without the hiss that these offer. I can turn the knobs to 10 on the guitar with the Lace Gold. With the stock single coils I would leave the volume around 7. If I want distortion I have effect pedals.😁

I have a mexastrat that I love. I replaced the original pups with Fender Texas Specials but was not happy with the sound. I'm less SRV and more Blackmore in my style so I replaced the T.S's with these and could not be happier. Just the sound I was looking for. Nice warm sound. I thank all those reviewers who gave honest insightful reviews so that I would be able to get the sound I was looking for.

I've had these pickups before so knew exactly what they were but actually showed up earlier than expected from this Seller, which was a nice surprise

Crystals clear , vintage strat tones.No noise at all!

Pickups are great, no hum detected yet. Although it seems kinda odd to make hum free pickups and then have bare cables rather than a coaxial shielded one, also obviously not designed for direct mounting.

Sounds OK. Not as good as the old ones in the 90s
