Living Proof Dry Shampoo, Perfect hair Day Advanced Clean, Dry Shampoo for Women and Men

I have been using this dry shampoo for a few years and love it. I started using a new can and after 2 or 3 uses the sprayer completely stopped working. Since I had purchased this in March of 2025 the return window was long closed. I went to the Living Proof website and within a few minutes of sending the required information they had a new can on its way to me, all expenses paid. I consider this stellar customer service and FYI, this issue only affected a certain Lot number which they say has been rectified so now I'm a permanent customer!

I have never in my life written a bad review, especially for a product that I generally like. However, I am very angry and disappointed. I purchased this dry shampoo and loved the texture and feel. I bought a bottle a couple of months ago and it was great...two times. Then, the spray portion stopped working. No matter what I did, I could not get it to work. I ran it under hot water to unclog it and tried a number of other things. I am the CEO of a global manufacturing company, so I totally understand that quality issues happen with mechanical functions. SO...I threw it away and purchased another one. The new one LITERALLY WORKED ONE TIME and the same thing happened when I went to use it again. This is not a cheap "throw away" type product, and while I like the product inside the can, the spray function of the can is junk and very poorly manufactured, rendering the product inside the can useless (and hella expensive per use). It is a bummer, but two times in a row is a problem. I will never purchase this product again.

the best dry shampoo around. leaves a white residue but even with dark brown hair I am able to rub it in. helps make my hair much less oily around the roots and extend my wash, with limited tackiness. smell is great, subtle but fresh. be careful about the cap though, if it gets hit it’s very easy to damage and can ruin the stream of product.

I frequently repurchase this item (sometimes from Amazon, other times in store) and love the product, however, this particular order arrived unusable. It is completely full of product, but the aerosol does not spray. After looking all over the product's Amazon page looking for an answer to this issue or a way to contact the seller directly, I did not find any helpful information. Given this is a beauty product, it also was not available for return. So I am now stuck with a full bottle of dry shampoo that does not work. I then searched the web for tips on how to fix an aerosol can, but nothing has worked. You can also see in the video where I remove the cap pressing down on the pressure point, but still, nothing. There are two small dents on the top and bottom of the can (see video) that may be the cause of the pressure not working. The can arrived this way and has not been used once – I bought it 2 months ago during a Prime Day sale but was still in use of my previously purchased bottle until now. I would greatly appreciate a replacement (I am happy to send this one back to Amazon in its full and unused condition) or a full refund.

I love this dry shampoo on freshly washed hair... I take a shower the night before work and use this right after I shower and my. hair looks freshly washed the next day and doesn't feel like there is anything in it. there is only a white residue if you don't shake the product well enough before you spray it. if you shake it in between you spray it then there will not be a white cast. works great

This is hands down the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used. I live in a very hot humid climate, I am active and on top of that oily. I have very fine, a bit on the thin side, naturally brown hair with blonde highlights. My hair is just below my shoulders and straight. Dry shampoo I’ve used in the past are: purology, lush, amika, batiste, IGK, Drybar, ouai, not your mothers, dove, oribe, just to name a FEW! For yearssss I’ve tried to find a dry shampoo does doesn’t leave my hair feeling gritty, textured with residue. I absolutely can’t stand my hair feeling all textured with residue. It actually ends up weighing my hair down, drying it out and making it feel almost worse than when it was greasy. I have never found a dry shampoo I liked. I just settled because I figured they were all like that. I am absolutely shocked this dry shampoo doesn’t leave my hair feeling all textured, stuck together, rough, gritty and gross. I followed the instructions and sprayed it in my hair waited a bit and went through my hair. Wow I am amazed. My hair felt clean, smelled good, had body and no residue. Just for the record I absolutely hated the other living proof dry shampoo (the original one) it was chalky and left my hair feeling gross. This new formula is absolutely fantastic. Why didn’t I give it 5 stars? Well it’s expensive and the bottle isn’t huge. The smell is very strong when you first spray it, it’s a bit like clean citrusy smell. Also although the dry shampoo does make my hair feel and look clean it doesn’t work 100% as good on very oily hair (like several day dirty hair after working out) as the ones that leave the white power residue like batiste. I say that because the only time I go many days without washing is after I get highlights because I give my hair a break. It still works good though and I will absolutely be repurchasing. As far as the way it made my hair look and feel this is by far the best one I’ve ever tried. I even felt my hair felt conditioned and soft, which a dry shampoo never does.

I love and use this product all the time. I have fine blond hair and in between washes, I use this to make it look as though my hair is clean, and because it creates volume! I recently received a bottle where the sprayer didn't work . . . at all. This is so frustrating because it renders the product useless and you're out the money. I contacted Livign Proof via their website and after giving them the information from the bottle (lot #, date, etc.) they sent me a replacement, no charge! I love all of the company's products and now I love the company even more!

I have used this dry shampoo in the past and so I know that I love it. Knowing that, I like to buy two or three in bulk so that I can keep them on hand when one runs out so I never have to go without! I purchased two of these back in April and used the first one more than halfway and then the nozzle suddenly stopped working. Super disappointing as this is an extremely expensive product, but I had used a decent amount of the first bottle and I still had my second unopened one, so whatever. Well, I got not even one full spray out of the second one and the same nozzle malfunction happened again. Called Amazon customer service asking for them to please send me a replacement and that I will even send them this full bottle of dry shampoo back in return so they can fix the nozzle and resell it or send that one back to me and all I got back was its “outside the 30 day return window”? I’m not trying to return it, I just want to have the product I bought for $45 dollars - nothing more, nothing less. I asked the customer service rep “so, basically I should never buy this from you guys in bulk then and I should make sure I only buy an amount I’ll use within 30 days because if the nozzle breaks after that I’m SOL? I am not asking to return it; I want it fixed and sent back to me or replaced and I will send you back the full unused bottle…” again, just the NPC response of it being outside the return window lol. I wish sometimes customer service would use common sense instead of reading responses out of an employee handbook. Now I have a useless completely full can of a very expensive dry shampoo I would love to use with no way to fix it, use it, replace it, or return it. It’s just sitting on my counter because to throw it in the trash will really really irk me - it’s such a complete waste. Please, if you want to buy this off here, just go to the nearest atm and pull out $45 cash and throw it in the trash. It will be the exact same experience. BUY THIS FROM A REPUTABLE SELLER IT IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY THIS FROM AMAZON PLS! Love ya ladies stay safe out there!
