Der-Franz Coffee, flavoured with Chocolate, ground, 2 x 500 g

IF you use a large dose you can taste a bit of chocolate but it's not much, thankfully it's not bitter and burned like most ground coffee these days so it's worth the buy if you want a descent coffee. I'd pair this with some sweeter and cream to make it worth the brew.

I find the coffee a bit weak and almost watery whereas my wife really likes it.A review that might be of no use to anyone, sorry!

The grind of this coffee is very fine which means it's more suited to espresso machines. I use it in a reusable Dolce Gusto capsule and the results are fantastic as an espresso.With a 7g serving, the flavour is strong with a nice nutty tone which lingers on the palate. As you can see, a nice crema is obtained, even from my Dolce Gusto machine.At just over £10 for 1kg (2x 500g bags), Der Franz is great value and I cannot wait to try their other flavours.

Realise that my usual, more expensive brand is the best. This is weak coffee that has almost a burnt taste. Can’t drink without sugar to mask it.

Nice mild-tasting coffee but unfortunately no discernible caramel flavour. Disappointed.

Nice value for money ground coffee.Great price when buying the 4x 1kg pack.Being picky it is slightly too finely ground but we do still enjoy it.
