The 6 5/8" version is NOT 6 1/2" as many have stated in the reviews! Don't listen to them!
They are measuring the blade inside-edge to inside-edge. That is WRONG! You need to measure OUTSIDE-EDGE to OUTSIDE EDGE because that is what your hole size will be! Those are basic fundamentals. Seems to be heavy-duty construction. I will update once I've used it.

Out of round
I used this to cut taillight holes in a Jeep Wrangler. The saw wasn't round by a long shot. I made it work somewhat after beating it to the roundest shape possible. Would not recommend.

Extra bits for when they break
I bought this to add speakers to a center console that’s 1/8th of an inch thick. Out of the box I noticed the teeth weren’t as sharp as you would expect them to be, I could run my finger around it and it wouldn’t get caught at all. Started drilling using WD40 and low speed and the second the drill bit got snagged it snapped. Swapped out the bit with a second one and finished the pilot hole and the hole saw went to work, sprayed more WD40 to the saw wasn’t metal on metal and it just wasn’t cutting, took very little material off and even broke a second drill bit. Luckily it comes with 4 bits so I’m hoping I can file the teeth to be a little sharper so I can finish my hole but overall you get what you paid for. I just couldn’t justify buying a $50 Milwaukee hole saw for one hole but right now I wish I had

6 5/8" Hole Saw
I bought this hole saw to drill a hole in a firebox for a smoker I am building. The hole needed to fit a 6" sch 40 steel pipe in it. The firebox is made out of 3/16" steel plate. I drilled a pilot hole with a steel step bit to make the start easier, and applied a generic oil based lubricant frequently. The chuck barely fit the bit for hole saw, but it did fit. I started drilling with a cordless drill, and moved to a drill press geared down to 300rpm once the drill died. Going slow with medium pressure and plenty of lubricant this hole saw had no trouble with 3/16" steel plate. The hole saw appears to still be in decent condition, and I believe I could get a couple more holes through steel plate out of it. This hole saw also cut the perfect sized hole for a sch40 6" steel pipe.

These bits are absolute trash
I'm not big on writing bad reviews but these were pretty bad. I bought two of these hole saws to drill holes through ranger designs van racks to install pipe racks made out of 6" pvc. Two holes through three layers of steel. These hole saws were good for one hole each, after that they were dull. I even used wd40 to keep the blades lubricated and cool. Maybe they're OK in wood but even that I doubt. I ended up using a grinder to finish.
