Great product. It seems to be very strong and sturdy. It brought a great aesthetic to the look of our deck. A bit of structure too. Installation was easy. Recommend sizing the screws before your install. The sides screw holes are smaller than the interior screw holes.

The Simpson Strong Tie connectors are simply the best and most stylish available. They are 100% metal and the railing will break before the connector will give. All of the poly/plastic similar items may work, but not as secure. My upper deck is 10ft from the ground and I used the Simpson Ties for safety and longevity (weather will not weaken these over the years). If you want peace of mind...you will not regret buying Simpson Strong Ties. I like doing projects the right way once and not worrying about or redoing about then 2 or 3 years later.These are not the best for stair railings...and I would hope Simpson would come out with something for the angled railings, but I will install quality where I can.

These hangers are sturdy but they are pricey at almost 5 bucks per hanger. I bought these for putting up a privacy wall on my pergola. I already spent so much, what is 60 more bucks, haha. They look nice. For the price, I do wish they at least included black cap screws for the visible screws holes.

Not inexpensive, but brings a project together nicely.

Very solid and good use for the brackets when I needed something sturdy and a piece of mind to affix my deck railing which is 10 foot off the ground. Stained wood deck with black baluster’s and brackets, screws to match, easy install, fast delivery, price little bit high but you get a million dollar look. No regrets very happy.
