Love it
I was a little worried about the sharpness lasting. But to my surprise it's very sharp and holds an edge very well. It cuts leather and paper. The comfort is also better than I expected

Leather craft scissors
They’ll cut through those big Amazon boxes. I get a lot of those. They’re easy to use for other purposes. I use them all the time. I have two. One in the kitchen one in the living room

It can cut
It cut 1/4 inch leather pretty easy. Recommend unless you will use yours on an almost commercial level then I'd recommend something better.

Trash
They. Stink out of the box. Very hard on your hands when cutting medium leather. Don’t waste your money.

Best leather scissors I've tried!
I do leatherwork as a business and have owned several different pairs. These are by far the best ones I've tried and are a great deal for the price. The handle is an integral part with the blade, so they won't break like the last pair I had. With a small amount of effort, they even cut saddle leather! They also do not leave serration marks like a previous pair.

Prepare to do some work on them before using
So, I bought these shears because they were the only ones that had all metal construction, which I think will make them tougher and longer lasting than shears with plastic handles. These are an almost exact copy of the vintage leather shears almost everybody's grandad had, albeit made to the mediocre quality standards that everything from the PRC is made these days. If you've taken up leather working in middle age like me, I bet you wish you'd hung onto your granddad's shears, rather than lost them or sold them at a yard sale for a quarter.Past regrets aside, one thing that sucked about those vintage shears is that they never padding on the handles. Luckily these shears do, although all they are are some ill fitting rubber tubes that slide right off. After I examined the shears for a bit, I took the tubes off, cleaned off the excess oil coating both the handles and blades, and then wrapped the handles in grip tape. I was then able to slip the tubes over the grip tape, which made for a nice, cushioned grip.Like many of the complaints on here, my shears also came almost completely saturated in oil. That didn't bother me too much, as it possibly indicates that these are constructed from high carbon steel and the oil was applied to them as a rust preventative. They were also -fairly- sharp, but once I stropped them a few times, they sharpened up nicely and cut through 9 ounce leather like it was paper. If you do leather working as anything more than a 1 off project then you know that periodic stropping (and sometimes sharpening) of tools is par for the course, so that shouldn't bother you if your shears aren't as razor sharp as you'd like them.So over all, these are NOT ready to go right out of the box imo, but with about 20 minutes of preliminary preparation, they can be transformed into a decent pair of shears. They are easy to sharpen, take and hold an edge very well, so for less than $20 I'd say they're worth it.

Scissors are great for leather. Cheap protector. Sharp point was at top of box which was dangerous
I was excited to receive the scissors but as I opened the top of the box I almost ended with a cut in my finger because the pointed tip was up at the top of the box. The scissors had a cheap and torn plastic cover over the tip which was disappointing. For what I paid for the scissors I expected a better protector at the edge of the scissors. I may end up returning I just haven't had a chance to look for a better pair with better protection to protect the sharp edge,

Great quality scissors. Cut very cleanly.

Bad purchase
As you can see , they bent after first cut . Obviously weak point at handle . Sure you can send back but if it costs more for gas to drive to the nearest UPS then it doesn’t make sense to spend more money than the product is worth. Good paper cutter but save your money go to the dollar store

Not tough enough
It did work ok-ish on thinner leathers between 4 to 6 thicknesses. I would not recommend these if you are going to be cutting thicker leathers. While working on 16 leather there was not enough leverage in the shears and the handles bent before the leather cut.Regardless of the leather thickness the handle loop were too small and very uncomfortable on the hands.

Unacceptable
These are dirty and used. I had no idea that I was buying a product that was not new…it was not stipulated in the ad. They arrived, package LATE, package was old and oily, scissors were dirty, rusty and oily. Not cool.
