I got these in the mail and immediately put them on and haven’t taken them off. They even found themselves a permanent place on my Instagram @carolina.casual (come say HI!!) they do fit true to size. I am usually a 7.5 and ordered the 7.5-8 and they fit with room to spare but I wouldn’t say they are TOO large… just enough room for slippers. My one and only complaint was that they got a little squished in transit and there was a crease on the top of them. I got the crease out with a steamer and I’m sure over time the crease will come out from wearing them
