Ludwig Accent 5-piece Complete Drum Set - 22-inch Bass Drum and Cymbals, Blue Sparkle

I actually haven’t received it yet but already know the quality of Ludwig. I’ve been a drummer my whole life and always dreamed of a Ludwig set. This is my second drum set and I’m looking forward to especially the snare as only Ludwig makes them. Tight, precise sound as you would expect from a Ludwig drum head that can take a beating and sound better with time. I’ve got my zildigan cymbals and double bass pedal ready to go. I’ll give another update after it has been abused!

I thought these would be a darker blue like the listing shown but these are all sparkly and still blue so I'll keep them and give full 5 stars because they were delivered ahead of the quoted date.The set was complete and no parts were damaged my only complaint is lack of an instruction manual but I was able to figure it out easily enough. Everything was accounted for and every component feels premium on this set I have no doubt this will suit me for plenty of years to come. I could have gone with a cheaper set but I wanted my own set of Ludwig drums ever since banging on my father's Vistalite set from the 70s. These drums brought me back even though they're not acrylic they're perfect for me and fit my budget perfectly.UPDATE: I have still one last item to arrive but already expanded the kit and migrated toms off the kick bass onto a separate stand among 2 other boom stands to add a full pack of low volume cymbals. I'll make the last adjustment to the setup when a set of roto toms finally arrive.UDATE 2: Roto toms arrived and managed to squeeze them into my setup and very pleased with the sound options at my disposal. This concludes the build of everything I initially ordered for my start in the world of drumming.
