After the vet almost killed my cat with anti-hypertensive pharmaceuticals (PPL! Don't let vets talk you into pharmaceuticals for cats. Cats' livers cannot process pharmaceuticals, and another vet told me there is ZERO testing on pharmaceuticals given to cats -- ZERO!), my cat's liver values went through the roof, unlike anything the vet said she'd seen in 30 years of practice, the jaundice horrifying. The vet gave my cat 30 days to live. I started using this against the vet's advice. That was 4 years ago. : ) My cat will be 20 this year. I have to temper this review by saying you never know what you are buying and that my research has shown this company, like a lot of tincture companies (almost all, in fact), are run by Russians in the US who keep a very low profile, and did get at least one warning letter on one of their tinctures from the USDA (it was a matter of selling one particular herb to the public which could cause serious medical problems). But I have to say, occasionally my girl will get yellow flareups, as happens with liver damage, there are always reoccurrences due to processing/difficulty processing the natural toxic load, and I douse her with this, and wa-laa, the yellow dissipates in a few weeks and girl is once again good with the world. I don't know the strength of this tincture, again, you never know what you are buying, unf, but this herb is used in Chinese hospitals as an injection in cases of acute liver failure.
