Toy didn't work
This toy would have been brilliant if it had worked whe I received it !! I bought it thinking that the batteries were actually going to work 🤔

Excellent Gruffalo figure for children
I have 4 children aged between 1-8 and they all love it. It is very strong and withstands daily drops from my kids (The older 3 are all rough handed boys). All of them especially like that it talks and it’s encouraged my 1 year old to practice the phrases and has really helped her speech. During our regular reads of the gruffalo book, our gruffalo figure has to join in too. For the price it’s absolutely worth the happiness it’s brought my children and how well it’s lasted.

Poor quality control
First one didn’t work even with new batteries, replacement needed new batteries to talk at all!

Battery not working
Disappointed says comes with batteries but doesn’t work so going to have to buy batteries

Son loves it but currently doesn't work
My 1 year old is over the moon with it, as he loves the gruffalo but the batteries it comes with doesn't work. I didn't read the description either to see that they are also button batteries, so I won't be replacing but overall, he doesn't really care. He loves that the arms an head move!

A very sturdy little toy
My little grandson laughed with delight when he heard Gruffalo talk in his rich baritone. It has about 5 phrases and is a robust toy, just the right size for a small hand.

Bit disappointing
Item didn’t work after removing the tab. Had to take the batteries out and clean them to get it to work. Then the Gruffalo’s voice is a bit distorted and sounds like John Wayne.

Great toy
My god daughter loved it, great little toy if the child is a fan, will Be buying the other toys from the set.
