The Barrel & Oak cologne is nice! Smells great! Exactly as described and arrived within a short period of time.

We were shopping in Nashville and bought some men's soap in a gift shop. Loved the smell so much husband asked if they had a cologne. Smells good!!

Nice mellow lasting scent. It being cruelty free is a nice bonus.

Exactly what I was looking for and smells great

From the moment you smell it, you can tell it is a chemical perfume. It is false advertising because the company uses vague terms in the ingredients listing-- without saying what exactly is contained in each of those components. Most importantly, it says it contains "fragrance," which is a "natural, essential oil-BASED blend." That means it has some essential oils but also other ingredients! I emailed the company three times and they refuse to disclose these ingredients. It is clear from their refusal and from smelling it that it contains chemicals, just like other commercial colognes. I plan to reach out to the Federal Communications Commission to report it.

The smell of this is fantastic! However, one or two sprays will not last all day. My observation is that it will require multiple sprays across different locations (mainly pulse points) to create a decent lasting effect. Even then, we’re still looking at 6 hours tops before you’d need to refresh. Best use is probably for a brief evening out or if you want some aromatherapy before bed.
