Just like a much more popular, expensive brand - sighting in was a little drawn out, but once I got it dialed in, no issue after that - took it out to 50 yards with no issues.

Will absolutely not hold zero, the adjustments do not "click" and have a considerable amount of play when you change direction of adjustment. I co-witnessed the top dot to the top of my iron sights (which are dead on at 25yrds) and after only a few shots of crappy wolf .223, not even full power 5.56 the dot immediately lost its zero. only thing i can say is that the magnifier seems to be ok, so i guess you could potentially save a few bucks vs the actual eotech one. this may be good for airsoft only, is 100% useless on a actual firearmEDIT- I did reach out to them, they did send me a replacement. But still unlike the real product, the adjustments still do not have a clicking detent. So this one seemed to hold zero somewhat better, but I do not expect it to hold zero.

So I had this site sitting for almost a month not be able to get out to the shoot, today I had a two hour long session where I could not keep the 3X site on the right with the vibration it continued to get loose and because of how the screw is the whole team please I cannot tighten it any further dissolution that I’ve come up after I was able to get home and work on the Y for was to reverse the way the nut goes onto the screw. I will try to edit. Did you see how it goes the next time I’m able to make it to the range. Overall it held zero with no problem fit on the gun well but the part that holds the sight in place would need an adjustment at least in my case, in order for it to be close to perfect .

Yes, this is a really nice optic set. I was about to get the 552 when I came across this.MOUNTING: VERY easy to install. It is way beefier than the Pinty it replaces.MAGNIFIER: The magnifier flip action is strong, no wiggle and allows use of the rear site when flipped. Has a rubber cover, easy adjustment controls and really puts the target in your face.HOLOGRAPHIC SITE: Is beefy! If I threw it at the wall it would make a good dent... and still work! Takes the cr123 battery, found in most grocery stores. Easy to turn on, off, change color and zero. It looks, feels and acts like the authentic model, even the brand name stamped on it.CON: UPDATE!!! 6/2/2023SIGHT: I recently ran my build rapidly when the rear glass came loose making zero impossible... There was absolutely no ruff n tumble going on besides rapid runs... So I put the Pinty back on with the magnifier but later, I glued the glass back in place and switched back.MOUNTING: The picatinny QD mount for both the sight and magnifier won't stay on the rail after a few rounds of 556. I had to crank it down 2x where I thought it would snap! Almost a deal breaker. So what I did was get rid of the quick disconnect all together. Now it is only screwed on the rail.WEIGHT: Makes my build heavier but is expected since this is 4x more material than my previous optic.RETICLE: I miss the Pinty, it has 4. This, only 1. (Sad face) Not a big deal at all.

I was excited to use the product, but was unimpressed once received. The quality of the light is not very clear, and the magnifier does not withstand much abuse. I tried locking the magnifier down well to a picatinny, but it kept loosening and would not stay on. The red dot unit has been great and has withstood significant shock without loosening. I would definitely recommend the red dot unit, but not the magnifier.

Looks cool, doesn’t hold zero real good though. I will say it kept shots on target at 50 yards but I tell it was bouncing back and forth. Definitely not meant for recoil. It’s not even that the screws move from the recoil, it’s something internal that just bounces around in there causing inaccurate shots. If all you want is to be within 6” of what your aiming at go for it.

Sturdy quality, simple mounting and relatively simple bore sighting. Will give more after it is range tested.
