Excellence
Excellent timepiece. Beautifully made, discrete, classic style - what's not to like? No issues with the timekeeping after 3 years. I trust it. It's obviously high quality manufacturing. I don't have think about it. It just works. A simple, daily pleasure. If this is not the heart of luxury, please tell me what is. I recently replaced the leather strap; the need likely related to water damage since I frequently forgot to change it during water sports. I would have liked to be able to purchase a SEIKO-brand replacement strap to compare its lifespan *without* water damage now that I ensure no water immersion for any reason.

Great ladies wrist watch
I was looking to transition from an Apple Watch back to a regular wrist watch. I love this watch. It is sleek, easy to read, and comfortable. I’ve always love my Seiko watches and this one didn’t let me down.

A modest and understated, yet elegant women's watch
This is a classic and timeless women's watch that you can dress either up and down. It's elegant enough to dress up but casual enough to wear with jeans and a sweater. The watch face is modest and understated while the Roman numerals and the leather crocodile strap add a tough of class. Many reviewers found the strap to be stiff and too short but my partner did not find this to be the case. She said it was both long enough and felt soft and pliable. The width is about as wide as a dime and as long as a nickel with a 14mm lug width. So it is fairly small but she has a petite frame with small wrists but this watch looks perfect on her. It's very feminine and dainty, which suits her well. And If you're patient you can get quite a deal on this watch, which is why I snatched it when I did. It ended up being cheaper than a Fossil.

Beautiful bit small watch
Love it! Beautiful quality watch. Very Tank style, but also very small - and I have small wrists.

Gorgeous, but strap is super small!
This is a beautiful watch… well worth the $. Had to return bc straps run really small and was too tight on wrist.

Beautiful delicate Tank-style watch
Seiko SWR053, great quality at this price point - it looks better in real life. A fan of the stainless steel Cartier Tank in the smaller (women's) version, I found this Seiko while researching Cartier vendors and very glad I did. Both the watch case and band are a bit on the small/short side. It fit me fine, I am 5'9", normal weight, small wrists, and thought it might look too small on me, given my height. It looks good; understated and elegant. The leather band is comfortable, the time is easy to read and accurate, btw there is no second hand. For reference, band size (is a 14mm width band): 6-7/8" -measured from last notch to lugs. 7-3/4" -measured from end of strap to lugs. It was a great find. For case size, attached pics show this watch next to a nickel, the larger men's Seiko, and the same Seiko in gold tone (close-up pic makes it look larger). Are all beautiful. Happy shopping.

Smaller than it looks
For any men looking to get something smaller for the wrist, be careful about getting this Seiko tank. It is smaller than the images or video shows.

5/5 This watch will make you happy.
Beautiful watch, rose gold trim is elegant at this supreme price point. The leather strap is initially stiff and needs time to be broken in. it's light weight and the strap is longer so those with smaller wrist may want to consider a smaller leather band. The time retention on Seiko watches is reliable as time itself. Overall this is a value for the money and a great quality durability.
