Took a gamble buying a used board from Amazon warehouse and it paid off.
The media could not be loaded. Paid 55.50 for a 60x36 porcelain board. I'm kind of a whiteboard/chalkboard fanatic (have bought like 4 total from amazon) and this is the best value 5'x3' porcelain board you can get if you get it for around 50 bucks.Doesn't ghost (well it slightly does, but all boards do, even the super expensive industry grade ones)Relatively easy to hang up with the mounting hardware they include. Possible to mount it solo. The frame/marker tray are plasticky material, but it works so I don't really care.Highly recommend buying used if you can get it for a good price! I bought mine as Condition: Used - Very Good, and there was only a tiny dent (picture included). Hey, if a dent saves me 150 bucks, that's a great deal to me.Included is a picture of the board, a picture of the dent the board came with, and an erase test of various whiteboard markers with a standard expo eraser.

Refused at the point of delivery
The whiteboard arrived in a cardboard box without any firm support (wood ends, cross bracing, etc.) The whiteboard and its container were crushed on one corner and severely damaged from what looked like a pair of forks or another heavy container or pallet being dragged across the box. I refused the package at the curb. Because the box had no structural support, it seemed that this could easily happen again; I elected to purchase a similar product from another source that shipped in cardboard with a 2x4 wood frame.

Wow! 4th Time is the Charm. Be Warned!
Wow! After about 2 months and 4 units shipped, I finally recieved a dry erase board that is usable, although still damaged, but luckily not enough to reduce the functionality of the board (cardboard had a hole punched in it and dinged the metallic back, but not enough to dent the ceramic side). This would have received at least 4 stars if it weren't for the terrible way the board is packaged and shipped. There is a piece of cardboard over the ceramic front (a thin piece), no protection on the back other than the outside shipping cardboard. The sides had a small cardboard corner and the sides had a 1/2" square piece of very cheap styrofoam. The first three had substantial damage from shipping including corners that were mashed and bent from being dropped and two units with holes punched in the packaging that left holes in the magnetic board. I even called 3M to bring it to their attention. It seems to me they have lost more than they would have ever made selling one of these if the return rate is this high. If I were in charge, I think a few more dollars in better packaging and more direction to the shipping company (hint: their logo is brown) would be well worth the additional incremental unit cost. 1 return out of 100 or 1000 should be more acceptable. I guess they sell enough stickies, it subsidizes the large ticket items.Okay, on to the actual review. The board is very easy to install. You literally hang two brackets, hang the board on the brackets and put some stickies behind the bottom corners to keep it stable. That said, I would highly advise you have two levels available. A small one to get the first bracket level horizontally and then a larger level (I recommend a 4 foot one) to then get a level mark between the two brackets (they should be about 3 feet apart for a 4ft board). As big as this is, being off just a small amount will be very noticable.Once installed (about 10 minutes with the right tools), the board looks great. It came with 4 colored markers, but they were all dry, so they were pretty useless. For an office, it should work fine for most any needs. For a home (my use), it looks great in our hall by the door so we can make notes, track chores, etc. for our kids. I left off the cheap bottom tray that is supposed to hold the markers. Besides being bent, it would just be a good way to get bruised trying to get by it in the hall. The board is sturdy enough for heavy use, but not heavy enough to install or take down later, if needed.3M, fix your packaging issues. it took me months to get an acceptable board. If you have the patience, it is at a good price point, but be prepared to be frustrated and have lots of tape on hand for packaging it back up.Good luck!

Good Board, Shipping is Hard on it
I ordered this board for my husband recently and unfortunately it arrived damaged. It's very fragile and easily dented, although it was packaged appropriately it still had a great big dent in it. We used the online return service and had a new one shipped immediately. The new one was also dented, but the dent wasn't so bad so we decided we could live with it. We hung the board (not too difficult, but the board is heavy, hanging implement is drywall anchors and screws) and are happy with it so far, although it remains to be seen if there will be ghosting issues or not.We had issues returning the first board but it had a happy ending. A few things to consider if you want to return your board: 1. The post office will not accept it. 2. It is too big to fit in our Nissan Rogue - had to get a neighbor to haul it to post office for us, where we discovered they would not take it. 3. Don't bother with UPS, they will charge $300 to ship.Ultimately I called Amazon Customer Service, and they were fantastic. They sent a freight courier to pick up the board from us so I paid $0 to ship it back. They also gave me a $50 gift card to Amazon since the second board was also dented (They offered to give me $30 in cash or $50 in gift money). The customer service people were so friendly and made it so easy, it totally made up for the hassle and frustration of trying to ship the board back ourselves.Very good experience, and great looking board!
