Great Backpacking Tent(1-person, non-Pro version)
First time buying a tent and first time using one since I was a kid. Great price, great quality and easy to pitch tent that comes with everything needed to pitch so there are no additional purchases needed other than a single trekking pole. Practiced setting up the tent at a local park before going backpacking last weekend and it took all of 10 minutes to set up both times(after watching a few videos on YouTube beforehand). Tent, stakes and guy lines are all good quality, and the lines as well as connection points are reflective making after-dark pitching simple if you have a small/low light source to work with. Tent is lightweight and takes up a small amount of space in my hiking bag. Tent comes with everything necessary to pitch as well as a small patch kit, stake bag and tent bag, and the tent is easy to stow in the bag. There are small hooks/loops to retain the doors when you roll them up so that they don't just dangle or blow in the wind. There is also a small hook that hangs inside just above the front access point which is convenient for hanging a light. Tent has great seals all around including at the zippers so bug intrusion was not an issue, and I had no condensation upon waking after the first night of use(high elevation, 60 degree overnight temps in dry Rocky Mountain climate). I'm 5'6" and had plenty of room in the tent with an inflatable mattress, sleeping bag and all of my gear inside including my 55/L hiking bag, didn't even need to use the two additional guy lines that create head and foot space so I could have made the interior more spacious if I had wanted to. This tent is best suited for anyone 6'0" or under. Tent is definitely for 1-person only due to narrow width. Best bang-for-the-buck backpacking tent out there IMO in regard to quality vs cost, would definitely buy again.

Missing part
Do not waste your money on this tent, there was missing parts and couldn’t put it up because there are no instructions instead is a video and there’s no signal on the camping site have to drive 10 miles out the camping to figure out it was missing part. I had to drive all the way to Walmart to get an emergency tent.

Great for price , bring a ground tarp
I’ve taken this on one trip so far and it was great. Light and the pitch was easy with just one person. Looks durable for the weight and I am happy with the tent, especially for the price point I don’t think it can be beat. Make sure you have trekking poles to set up the tentI thought the stakes were fine. More than adequate to set up the tent in harder dirt.I would get a ground tarp, I didn’t and I feel like the floor is a little thin to use without some sort of ground covering, and next time I will bring one.

MIER 2 person, 3 season tent
I can’t say enough about how much I absolutely LOVE my tent!It has held so damn good.Took it out for 16 days on the Appalachian Trail...did amazing!Funny thing—the woman I wound up hiking with had the Zpacks Plexamid tent which would be set up next to mine every night. My MIER tent actually exceeded my expectations. While the Zpacks owner was stacking rocks on top of her stakes to ensure they held...my tent stakes (original stakes) held up (with NO added rocks) through thunderstorms & extremely high winds! On first unveiling the tent, I was a bit skeptical about the material of the tent. It felt too thin & delicate to be able to hold up against rocks, sticks, stuffing in/out the stuff sack, rain, wind....but it not only held up throughout all that —it even held up through HAIL one night!!I was so nervous the first night it rained that I was going to wake up soaking wet & have to head home. Thankfully I underestimated how durable the rainfly is because I never had a single drop of water on the inside!I did wake up in a “pond” (really huge puddle from the thunderstorm that night) that was a good 2” deep!!Even with that happening, water never got inside!!!!!I bought the MIER 2p/3season tent for this hike and I did wind up getting cold, but the temps dropped down into the 20’s so it was NOT the fault of the tent but the fault of the tents owner! Needless to say once I returned home from the hike, I went online and purchased the 4season inner tent for this coming winter hiking season!
