I installed this on a Kohler toilet that had a single flush pull knob on the top of the tank. I had to use a Dremel to slightly enlarge the whole on the top by maybe a 16th of an inch. After that the assembly was easy only taking a couple of minutes to complete and it works perfectly.

I bought three of these sets. Normally I never complain about instructions, but I had some installation issues. Well, it was installed easily, but I had to hold the buttons to flash. The instruction talks about jammed cable. In my case it was not jammed, it was curved a bit more than device can tolerate. So, I found some examples on youtube and did it in the same way. After that, my issue was resolved. All other sets were installed without problems in 15 minutes each. Later one unit had some issues, but Danco's customer service was fantastic the problem was resolved.

I am using two of these items. So far, they are working fines. Yes, there is a bit saving in water but difficult to estimate the savings.

This is easy to install and often avoids separating the tank from the bowl to fix the flapper seal. But the install alignment and amount of downward pressure can buckle the rubber funnel on the bottom that creates the quick and easy seal to the existing toilet part. After a few years this began leaking water from the tank to the bowl causing slight draining all the time. I should have tried to just readjust the alignment and downward pressure, but just replaced it with this same unit for the cost. There are some simple adjustments that set the flow to rinse the bowl and set the water level in the bowl, but I just left the factory settings. This unit also removes all of the junky linkage and flapper that can get bound up and cause problems.

This the second time I buy this item. I got this the first time from a mayor store and I was very happy with it. It was not until a few weeks ago that it start leaking or say sealing properly anymore. So I said to myself: " it's being over 5 years now.. is time to get a new one". Installation Instructions are easy to follow and accurate enough.
