Jess moves from New York to Atlanta (her brother's house) and finds out that her brother Aiden is on a business trip and now he has a super hot roommate, Connor.Connor ropes Jess into working with him as he needs an artistic vision to stage a house and they work well as a team.Connor and Jess it off and sparks fly.One of the best things about this book is I liked all the background characters as well. The best scene for me the octo date they all go on...The book is wonderful, I couldn't set it down. Looking forward to Aiden's story.If you are into met cute, rom-com, brother's best friend, closed-door romance....etc you should definitely pick up this book.I received this complimentary ARC from the author in order to provide a fair and honest review.

Oh lord, I'm melting. What an incredibly cute, swoony & humorous romance debut this is.🎨After a breakup, which left her homeless, jobless & alone, Jess did what a 28-year old woman would do. She ran far away from New York to her brother's place in Atlanta, only to find a hot guy living there instead of her brother (who is currently out of town). Oh did I mention how it led to a hilarious meet-cute?🎨 Jess was a such Bubbly character full of sunshine & warmth. Her hilarious internal dialogues killed me. She was brave & compassionate. I loved the fact that despite being full on attracted to Conor, she took her sweet little time in taking things forward.⛏Professional house flipper Conor was as sweet as a cheesecake. A guy who cooked, donated blood often, was caring, lovable & renovated houses like god-sent.⛏The chemistry was undeniable, swoony and those eye contacts were to die for. Loved how each of them blended in the others work & started working together. The romance progressed naturally & was satisfying.

Well here we go folks another go-to Romcom author added to our lists 😁 Author Katie Bailey has snatched herself a place by showing off the world her love for writing by releasing an amazing debut novelJess is such a sweet personYou know she's the kind of girl you get attached immediately because there's a string of connection that connects us to her immediately as we all have a similar part of herself in usConner is absolutely everything a girl wants and someone who knows what and how valuable true love is and also how valuable ppl areThe continued banter, fun, and jokes crack you up throughout the book... I enjoyed Courtney and Aidens fun part too.. all of them together just hit the book off...I can't wait to read the next book in this seriesAnd BTW from this book I've learned that I should never go an Octo - date 🤣🤣Their romance is absolutely swoony and also clean - a fact to appreciate and enjoy You'll enjoy reading this fun rom-comP.S: I'm currently reading the second book in this series .i.e Aiden & Courtney's story and boom!!! It's a cute and cosy romance. I loved it more because it could show romance without the need to be explicit. The characters were relatable, and the story started fine and dandy.The only missing element was some spark. The lead characters connect almost instantly, and their love story seems rushed. Too many twists, but they unfolded without an awe factor and were just thrown. Lastly, two POVs broke the flow. I enjoyed reading Jess's narration, but Conor's style was bland.Overall, an excellent read for a weekend.

Start was good & engaging. But in middle it felt that it's not going anywhere because of that the end felt rushed. But yeah a one time read I would say.

This is a beautiful swoon worthy, funny and real book on love and heart break and trust. It is written so flipping (pun totally intended) wonderfully. Honestly I was practically a puddle, a pile of mush, red faced, heart pounding, trying to focus my eyes being over powered by the amount of tension and love bleeding on to these pages. I feel a little dizzy 😂I've been sat in bed whispering 'wow' and 'oh my god' over and over at the whole book and the ending. I. I cried at the bloody ending is what I did, bloody fuzzy and warm. This books had me seeing the moment in my future with the love of my life and having a baby with the amount of toddler and baby cuteness it showed. Which leads me to the side characters:God the side characters. Are. Incredible. Beautiful. Hilarious. All of them. Love them. Adore them. Courtney. Aiden. Mia. Pete. LOVE THEM. I NEED NEED NEED A BOOK IN AIDEN AND COURTNEY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE THERES JUST NO WAY THERE ISNT SOMETHING PLEASE I BEG I NEED MORE OF THESE CHARACTERS.Okay now on to the main characters, Jess and Conor. Hilarious both of them. Jess is relatable. And her feelings are so raw and real and I just wanted to give her a  it squishy hug. Conor is ugh I NEED a Conor. We all deserve a Conor. Respectable, beautiful soul, loving, charming but not in the dickish way. These are definitely new comfort characters and this is definitely my new comfort read!

I loved this book, it was such a sweet hug of a story. Conor was totally 😍😍 awesome, so supportive and kind.I loved the fact there was no huge drama, yes of course there were misunderstandings but these were dealt with in a really grown up and supportive way.I’m really looking forward to Aiden and Courtney’s book.

The chemistry in this book- absolutely electrical! I love Jess. I just want to pick her up and cuddle her and drink dodgy pina coladas until she’s my best friend too!And where do I get me a room mate like Connor? Yes please!

The Roommate Situation was really funny and full of romance. I loved the instant connection and attraction between Jess and Conor. Major brownie points were scored for Conor who helped Jess rediscover her self confidence after 6 years of being made to feel that she didn't matter.I really liked the side characters to this story and am intrigued to read Aiden and Courtney's story now.

This book was such an enjoyable read. From the start to finish it had me hooked, it was funny & light hearted. It was an easy but thoroughly enjoyable read. I’m looking forward to Aiden & Courtney’s story.
