Bought these to use on some painfully uncomfortable Ikea patio chairs until my new chairs arrived. They took a pair of chairs that were basically torture devices and transformed them into something comfortable enough to eat a meal while sitting on. The cushion is not that thick, but it is firm enough that it really cushions. It's not sofa level comfort, but definitely at the upper end of dining chair comfort.I like the anti-slip backing on these, as it really prevents sliding. I would hesitate on using them on anything fabric or leather. On wood it was perfect. I did not get any of the smearing or residue some other reviews have stated, but I was not using them in direct sunlight or hot/humid temperatures, which I suspect would be the cause. I will use them on my new patio furniture set (metal) on a full sun balcony, so I will update after a summer season.They will also be great to bring to parks or wherever rock hard seating is expected. They fold up super easy and can fit in a tote bag.

I was initially very impressed with these chair pads. They looked good, very comfortable, and they stay in place.I ordered black , which went very nicely with my dining set. The black does show "white" dirt marks, despite spot cleaning. The tags clearly state these are machine washable, so I tried it. I have a large front load washer, used a gentle 25 minute wash, low spin.... and 2 of my cushions came out looking like a dog had chewed them. I do not recommend, and will have to replace. At around the $100 price tag, I will be looking elsewhere.

I wasn't looking for top of the line; and this package (and others from the same manufacturer) had positive reviews and a really good price. It's well made; much too soon to judge durability. I would have preferred something thicker, but nothing that I saw advertised that wasn't a lot more expensive fit the bill better, and there's nothing to stop me from stacking the two together. If I decide I need more, I'd certainly consider the 4-packs from the same manufacturer.
